Battery Cr2016 Order Cr2032

I run through a bunch of CR2032 batteries every couple of months. I like these because battery life has been good, and I can buy them at a reasonable price through B&H.

The RAYOVAC CR2032 Lithium Battery (2-Pack) contained two, count-em two CR2032 cells. Absolutely amazing!!. These were purchased as spares, so I have not measured their voltage yet. Presumably, they will produce the rated 3 Volts and will last for 190 to 240 mAh. They are 20 mm in diameter, shiny and light weight and most likely contains some lithium & manganese dioxide so are technically a LiMn02 cells. FYI: They can explode if heated to more than 80 deg. C.

Second order got the correct battery. Order showed up but now return mailing for battery disposal. They brag about this when calling in on hold as to why purchase from APC but when you do they forget that part. I you want to dispose of the battery you must call an E-waste company or deliver yourself or you could make several phone calls and e-mails to APC and get the UPS return label. So if the deal is better somewhere else you might want to take it.

The Vello BG-C18 Battery Grip that I order from B&H is a great piece of kit for someone who is looking to extend battery life in their Canon EOS RP. Dealing with the frustrations of a great camera paired with a very poor battery can be dealt with, and dealt with effectively with the BG-C18 Battery Grip. I've owned my RP for a little over a year now and found it to be a great camera. The only issue I had with it was the battery life. I'd go out on a day hike with the RP find that the battery died rather quickly if I didn't turn it on and off all the time when in use. I might get an hour or two out of the battery. Yes, I did pack an extra battery or two but I don't like having to switch things out all the time. So, I went looking for a solution and found that Canon does not make a battery grip for the Canon RP, which is a shame since all my other Canon Cameras are supported. I had my order in my hands two days later. What a great experience! Now I can honestly say that my days of frustration with battery life are over...
