I just replaced my 2008 era MacBook battery with a NuPower replacement battery. Right out of the box the before fully discharging the new battery it indicated 65% charge level. This battery is lithium-Ion 54 watt hour, better that the original 45 watt hr unit. Easy old battery out new battery in. Initial charge cycle requires you to fully discharge the new batter before charging. The only drawback was it too so long to discharge the new battery before charging fully. B&H pricing for this battery was less than anyone I could find and shipping was free & on-time! 5 |

This is such a great little battery. USB C means I can charge it with my MacBook charger in the hotel room or I can use the battery to charge my MacBook/iPad/phone etc. when on location. Takes the brick battery concept and makes it even more versatile. 5 |

Our Macbook Air was won back on November 30, 2012 per television promotion. Approximately around February 10th 2017 the unit was not holding a charge for too long, The battery indicator would read replace soon. After researching the subject we came across B&H and found the Nu Power battery. What we liked most about the Nu Power were the instructional videos, reviews ,and the tools needed were provided in the box. The installation was straight forward and the laptop turned on immediately. The battery now lasts over 4 hours on a full charge and no battery indicator reading replace soon. Does exactly what I need it to do, charge NP-FW50 batteries. No problems with actual charging power and I like that it shows the progress of the charge. I can charge one battery on this charger and one directly plugged into the camera which is great. The only complaint I have is that is charges rather slowly, which is a bit annoying if you're in a rush, especially with batteries that drain pretty quickly. I suppose this is probably better for the battery to not charge up too quickly, so I can't complain. 5 |

Charger is slow to charge from 5% battery level, and works best with one battery attached. Does not overheat. 5 |
