Battery Door Logitech K780 Keyboard Problem

2024-06-06 01:16:42

I recently added an undermount keyboard tray to my desk, and the K780 Wireless Keyboard is a dream accessory. It is quiet, compact and just what I needed.

I previously had a Logitech wireless keyboard that I kept corded to the power. The problem with that was the illumination turned off after a short period to save the batteries that I did not use. This keyboard stays on as long as you want and is very similar otherwise.

I've been using K780 for couple days now. It's better than I expected. It's pretty quite. You can still hear it when typing, but much less noisy than my standard K120. I didn't buy this keyboard to use its built in stand for phones and tablets. I just like how it looks. And my phone with a DBrand case on it doesn't fit in the groove anyway, lol. The keyboard is pretty heavy (probably to hold tablets), and I like it being heavy, doesn't slide around. It does take some time to get used to typing on it, after using a mechanical keyboard for a long time, but I like it so far. Overall very good product. Definitely recommend.

This is my third K780. They are all currently in use at my various work locations. I love the flexibility of using one keyboard with multiple laptops. The tactile feedback is excellent and I am picky about such things.

I got this for my Logitech MX mini keyboard, does what it is made for.

This L bracket works well, is lightweight and there is no problem with access to the ports, battery door and LCD screen. I use it with my 3 legged thing tripod Punks Billy, it is so much easier to switch between portrait and landscape views now. Plus, who needs black when you can have orange?

I enjoy doing Light Painting with my camera tethered to Capture One. It is very time-consuming and there is no way that my camera's battery could hold up through the duration of a shoot, which can sometimes last several hours. This device solves that problem easily. The only problem I had at the outset was that since I shoot with a Canon R5, it wasn't immediately apparent how to fix the battery-shaped end into the compartment and then shut the compartment door. I had to call and get help from the fantastic B&H customer service to enlighten me that there is a little, hidden notch on the inside of the R5's battery compartment that opens to allow the cord to come through so I could shut the door. Otherwise, the R5 won't work at all. A special thank you B&H service!! :-) It was a five-minute call and the problem was solved. Anyway, as I wrote, it works just as advertised and is a great addition to my kit!

I bought the real FUJIFILM VERTICAL BATTERY GRIP X-T1 when I bought my Fuji X-T1 and I think I paid over $200 for it. After a few years it died. Internet search claims the problem is that a pin inside is bent. I was tempted to send it to Fujifilm for repair but past dealings with their repair department was a nightmare. And would probably cost me twice what I paid for the VELLO. I bought the Vello BG-F1 for about $59. Works great and priced right. Remember it only holds a second battery nothing else, no super technology, no moving parts. The VELLO is better than my Fuji Vertical Grip because the battery door closes and locks. A defect and constant problem in the original Fuji Grip made the battery door finicky and often it would not close, or lock and sometimes fly open. There are a number of videos online on how to fix the door problem with glue and tape, but its easier just to buy the VELLO.

Required accessory for Z30. About battery/card door problem. Little bit difficult access to change card (Battery changing is much easier). But in my case my fingers are thin, and I do it with slight delay. With big fingers it will be hard and maybe impossible.

By far the best FP cage available. The only other one is the Niceyrig one you can find on eBay. Problem is that one has no way to use w a dummy battery without detaching the battery door which btw isn’t made to be detached. This one is the one…
