Running off a laptop means it helps to have an external that has its own power source so its not draining my laptop battery. I reviewed this product on April 02,2018 about the issue with draining the battery. With my permission, the manufacturer contacted me and did investigation. It turned out it is the issue with the specific batch. Now the manufacturer has fixed the issue for me. The battery pack is now working like a charm.
