I have a very serious medical condition that requires me to go through Chemo . With the Doctors telling me what seems like hundreds of things to do and watch out for I was definitely becoming overwhelmed! Last session I brought the recorder and was able to capture most of the instructions, and jot them down to reference. I want to add a microphone to help me really capture everything. It is helping me to survive and worth every penny.

My purchase of these headphones was greatly influenced by Consumer Reports * rating (86/100) of the Grado Prestige SR80i headphones now discontinued by the manufacturer. These SR80e are the best sounding headphones I have ever owned! They offer exceptional value for the price ($99)! I use them primarily to listen to my music library on iTunes or to my music cds. I presently own an apple iPhone 5s smartphone. I have an apple macbook pro; a yamaha cdc-697 natural sound compact disc player; an apple tv; a yamaha RX-V567 natural sound av receiver; a samsung P51F8500 smart tv and Definitive Technology Pro Cinema home theatre speaker system all connected in one room. In another room there is an apple iMac connected to a Logitech Z623 speaker system. My music library is mainly jazz and classical with some r&b and pop. The Grado Prestige SR 80e headphones handled all with consummate ease. I can't imagine what I might not be hearing but the only headphones rated higher by CR (91/100) are the Grado Prestige SR 325e at $$. Not yet thank you.

Papers come and, unfortunately, papers go, but I hope the Bergger Prestige Variable CB Warmtone is to stay a long time. It's my favorite, and better than my great, late favorite. I especially love the subtle tonal gradations in the denser, high-end values of the negative. With 1 to 15 selenium toning the blacks are also solid. I use the paper for both contact printing 8x10 negatives as well as projection printing 120 film negatives. With my Moersch ECO 4812 print developer, the warmth is very subtle. Highly recommended.

The Prestige Smooth Gloss is my new favorite printing paper. On my Canon 9500 printer, it handles black and white images like no other paper I have used since leaving the darkroom. Making the switch to Galerie Prestige was a Smooth Move!

Having accumulated printing experience, I then opted for a more luxurious and thicker stock. I had tried products from Canson and Hahnemuhle but they didn't give me as good results as the Ilford papers.
