The design is much better than Hero 8 black. The Go Pro company give hero 8 black with new battery door. Bad design..... you have to open the battery latch to be able to connect the Hero 8 with external power, which will exposed the battery and micro SD card. It's just stupid design, so stay with Hero 7. 5 |

Best battery for GoPro yet ! I used it for the Hero6 Black and the Hero 7 Black. I get anywhere fom 4 to 8 hours @ 2.7K mostly around 6 hours. I've spent a small fortune all MANY, MANY other types of batteries and they all have problems. Voltage is important. This one is consistent and it works ! A few caveat's though: 1-it must be kept cool otherwise the GoPro over-heats. {thats not the battery's fault} 2-the start sequence is important ! -turn on GoPro {not the quick start !} -start the ReFuel, make sure the GoPro indicates charging. -then start recording ! I've tested the procedure 30 times... I use it for a plane so it's always cool. I hope they make one for the Hero 8 !!! 5 |

At first I tried out the Media Mod for my Hero 8 Black, but I was not impressed with having to remove it from the mod every time, to change the battery. I then ordered the GoPro Mic adapter. Works perfect, and with the SmallRig cage changing batteries is fast and easy. Highly recommend. 5 |

I recently purchased this battery for a used Go Pro Hero 3 Black I was recently given. After charging this battery up and riding along with the original go pro battery and this one. After the original ran out of juice this battery did its job well. Even had power left after my ride which was better then expected. Love it so much I bought another one with the charging kit as well! 5 |

I love the hyper stabilization feature and I love the various settings you can do with the Hero 7 black. I also like that the batteries are removable so with a battery gopro charger, I can easily swap batteries and I don't even have to stop recording. I also like the voice activation. 5 |
