But, not just for gaming. The battery life is very good and matches the advertised 80 hrs. This is a rare close back planar that sounds good. Planar headphones tend to do poorly when they're made as close backs. The default sound is good for games and music. Details are good and the headphone isn't tuned with bloated bass or grating treble like some gaming headphones.

I was looking for a 15 inch gaming laptop and I saw this on the B&H website. I was impressed by the specs and brought it. Since it had two SSD slots, one empty, I purchased a 1TB SSD and installed it, no problem. The Asus Tuf Gaming Laptop boots in seconds and the battery life is far beyond impressive, non-gaming, it lasts since most gaming laptops are bad on battery life. It has no DVD drive since it's military specs and no card reader which I purchased later. Excellent.

this head set is amazing! Not only is the noise cancelling short of magic, but the sound quality and battery life are incredible. Right out of the box flew across country and had 50% battery life after landing. Just paired it to my gaming PC to see how it compared to my high end gaming cans, and it is top notch, WITH the added bonus of cancelling out background sounds like a small fan type heater running, or the dang PC itself!
