We originally purchased the DXA-MICRO-PRO adapter, which is the same unit except that it is powered by a 9v battery, whereas this unit is powered by a rechargeable battery with an option for an external power cord (USB). Except for how they are powered, and for the addition of the accessory plate, the units are identical. This is the unit to get if you are able to power it from USB or AC-to-USB. Otherwise, your choice is rechargeable battery (this one) or disposable battery (the other one). I hate batteries, so I got this one. 5 |

I’m a huge fan on using battery powered equipment. Camera, lights, monitors and everything in between. These batteries are super light weight and last a long time. We literally used one of these on a Komodo the other day and it last the whole day. I remember my AC mentioning he never changes the battery after shooting for hours on end. Build quality is superb! Light as a feather, well not really but you get the point. These little batteries make our equipment lighter which my arms thank me for at night.. You can’t go wrong with AB and you definitely can’t go wrong with these batteries for the price. 5 |
