Simple enough to charge in the wall charger. Holds battery life. 5 |

Doesn't need to be plugged in the wall or to have a battery. Simple and great. Love it. 5 |

I've bought 4 that came with the Lights. One has not kept a charge but I bought another one. I love the lights so getting a new battery was not a difficult choice. 5 |

I upgraded my home editing setup to include a neutral gray surround for color grading. A little research led me to this product and it has proven to be a great choice. The lights are D65 and high CRI (the key factors). Additionally, they are dimmable, though I honestly doubt I will ever use them below their full strength. The light reflected off the wall isn't super-bright, but that's correct (and comfortable) for bias lighting. Because these are strip lights (as opposed to some bars or tubes that I looked at), If you wanted a brighter surround for a smaller area (one or two monitors), you could double up the strip as needed. Similarly, where my monitors are not all the same distance from the wall (due to angles and corners), I was able to even out the brightness along the wall by mounting the strip on the back of the monitors in one place and on the monitor support arm (closer to the wall) in others. I considered adding some kind of diffusion, but I found that the large quantity of LEDs does a reasonable job of spreading the light. The sensor (receiver "eye") for the remote control is on a short pigtail, which meant that even though I wanted all cables out of sight, I was able to have that part poke around the front so the remote control can see it - and the remote works quite reliably. Just for fun, I tried some other power sources and dimmers, none of which worked. I recommend using the Medialight as designed with the included components. Considering that the least expensive strip light on Amazon is around $20 (and the light from that product is terrible (in both color and brightness), the Medialight price is pretty easy to justify. 5 |

What I love about this product is that it comes with barn doors, its bi-color and it has an LCD panel to see exactly your light percentage and color temperature. It's really hard to find that in a light that's under $250! You may not realise this yet but if you are working with more than one of these lights, being able to accurately have all the lights on the same color temperature or light percentage is really helpful, hence, this is why the LCD back panel comes in handy. However, a minor flaw is that the battery chargers are very cheap and literally split in half when unplugging it from the wall; though it still works. Other than that, the lights work really well and the kit is awesome since it comes with the option to power them via batteries or a wall power supply. 5 |

I purchased two of these lights. One for a hair light and the other for an accent colour on the wall. These things are a YouTubers dream! 5 |

Sometimes you don't want to use a voice assistant to adjust the lights, even if you have a smart speaker. Sometimes your smart speaker doesn't hear you, or you want to control the lights from a room in which you don't have a smart speaker. For those instances, I've found these to be a great solution. One tip: I use 3M command fasteners to stick these to the wall instead of the included mounting solutions. The command fasteners do cause the plate to be held a little offset from the wall, but the ability to more easily remove and reposition them without leaving a screw hole or mark on the wall is worth it. 5 |

Kept forgetting to turn workbench lights off. Saw this power strip and decided to try and incorporate them with my existing overhead GE smart wall switch. The transaction with B & H couldn't have been any easier and the item arrived in no time! Since the garage overhead light is controlled by a GE smart wall switch, this was a no brainer. Just added the Kasa Smart Power Strip to my Kasa app, then into our Habitat system. Now when ever I operate the wall switch, it controls both the overhead & workbench lights! 5 |
