I use this on my Olympus EPL3 when I am street shooting. It is secure and flexible to bring the camera to bear.

I frequently use this when battling ninjas and have never been attacked by a bear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Delta base in preparation for a black bear hunt last summer. It has been solid in all respects, namely ease of setting up, use of the mobile app to change settings and check activity, camera quality is outstanding and picture quality is excellent. The cameral itself weathered several "bear attacks" and stood up very well. It also performed well through out the late fall Deer season in Northern Minnesota with temps dropping to 10 degrees below several mornings.. Great camera for the price.

I recently went bear hunting (with a camera) in eastern NC. Bought this monopod to use instead of my old Bogen aluminum tripod. Used it to support my Sigma 150-600mm sport super telephoto lens. The difference in weight was significant (I'm 81 years old) and it performed well in the field.

I bought this for photographing Polar Bear and other Arctic wildlife from a ship. It proved to be invaluable in helping me steady my camera and telephoto zoom on a monopod. My photos were must sharper than handheld with image stabilization. The mechanism was smooth and easy to fine tune tension which made adjusting the camera simple. I've always had great luck with Kirk products. My ball head is 15 years old and works as well now as it did when I bought it. Great products, great company!
