Beat By Dre Headphone Wire

I was looking into buying a new pair of headphones and I was checking out Beat's by Dre. If you know anything about Beat's by Dre you would know that they are very, very expensive. This put them far out of my budget. A friend who owned the Audio Technica ATH-M50s suggested I try out something by Audio Technica. I did some researcher and finally decided on the ATH-M30X over-ear headphones. Overall, they are amazing. The one other thing I would like to mention is the cord. It doesn't tangle, it feels durable, and it is very long. However, its length can sometimes feel like a little bit too much. I was looking at the ATH-M50s, and they had an option for a coiled cord. I wish that could have been an option for these, and if it was, I certainly would have been willing to pay a bit more for it. Finally, I was amazed by the price. These definitely blow away the lower end Beats by Dre headphones! !!

I use this cable to connect various components to the headphone or mic jacks on my computer. This cable seems to be well made with fairly heavy wire and quality cable ends. I haven't had it long enough to discover how well it will hold up over time, but I expect it last as long as I don't abuse it.

The sound you'd expect from a more expensive pair of headphones. I'm a bit of a headphone fanatic, but wanted something that would pair well with my mic and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. While most headphones would do the job, I wanted these to be comfortable but not 100% noise cancelling. These fit that bill perfectly. The collapsible design is a bonus. They sound great - no distortion and are quite responsive to fine tuning adjustments to ensure accurate and quality output. My only concern is the wire from the head pad to each headphone. I'm always afraid I'm going to pull it out. However, this has not been an issue. I should note the wire appears because when you adjust the headphones there is a grooved metal (steel?) adjustment band that is exposed. I like it because they stay put and you aren't constantly having to readjust them. The coiled cable is very long and high quality. The adapter for the plug screws into place to ensure, again, a good connection without any loss of sound quality.

For an inexpensive closed back headphone this can't be beat. I use it when my normal selection of open cans will disturb the rest of the house. They need the aftermarket lamb skin pads, I am sure that will improve both comfort and sound over the vinly pads. Really like the modular cables it comes supplied with too.

This is the 2nd pair of this headphone that I have purchased, and I even have a higher end AKG, but with the price, these can't be beat for quality and price

I used this to convert my beats three pin headphone connection to a normal connection to my headphone amp. Being that the Beat has that third line on the connector it didn't let my headphone go stereo because that third line is used for Mic or cell phone connection it would interfere. It does its job nothing else.

All around good sound not just bass heavy like all the beats by dre phones, and not three hundred for quality sound either
