I use this for recording music performances and rehearsals at my school. It is so much better than my laptop mic. The price is very reasonable.

I have long wanted something portable but of good quality for recording music practice and rehearsals, and for directly capturing LP and tape material from my own excellent audio system without resorting to low-grade USB turntables and such. In short, the Zoom H5 is a godsend. Read the specs/features of all the Zooms -- they're astounding. This particular model was the perfect choice for my purposes. Very highly recommended!

I am a music teacher, I have my lessons in there for my students, also my personal laptop, pens, and a "recording microphone" and a book to read along the way. (I travel by Train), I love its color, its style, it does not weigh and it has a double protector, so that it is not easily opened by thieves.

This is being used for a multi-channel recording interface and a webcam. I have used it for music lessons using Skype and using the two channel output of the mixer as well as multi channel tracking to Logic Pro. It is attached to a MacBook Air. Works great, no issues. It is connected to a wide angle webcam and a Mackie onyx mixer with as many as 7 channels of audio plus the video passing through it. The ports are well spaced and the plug in to the MacBook stays put and makes a solid connection. So far so good.

Using at home during these strange times for remote voice and music lessons.

I use this stand on stage for rehearsals and performances and for recording. Its sturdy build quality and tight adjustment clamps make this mic stand superior to the average budget stand and I have had no issues with imbalances, drooping, or other mechanical failure. PROS: The stand is surprisingly light for its strength. There are at least four possible adjustments: base/legs; overall height of boom; angle and length of boom, and tightness of clip adapter. It looks sleek and professional and is clearly durable. It was also very easy to add a quick-release mic-clip adapter. The included cable clips are a nice touch. CONS: I have few if any negative comments to make, although for the price, I would have liked a telescoping boom and/or counterweight, particularly for studio use, but it excels on stage with no problems.

I play in a band.  I use this for recording our rehearsals and also just used it for recording a performance.  It provides excellent sound reproduction; excellent value (got it on sale).  Much smaller than I expected and also way lighter.

I bought this as I'm constantly forget to hit record or hit stop while recording in rehearsals and at shows. This has been the perfect way to help me fix that issue.

I use these for recording depositions. For the price you can't beat the price.

i use these for my commute. they are clearly designed for studio recording use, but they have noise isolation, so even when i'm not listening to music, i still don't hear noise on the train. they need a bit of stretching, but are pretty comfortable. a bit heavy for most people, but i like the weight, it makes them feel substantial. the cable stood up to my one year old biting it, very strong. and while its not necessary for music enjoyment, the mono/stereo switch is fun to play with and gives you an appreciation of what goes into making a track.
