This product ATH-M50 White has really impressed me in many ways. It is very comfortable, meaning you can monitor or listen for hours. Great for Studios/Monitoring. It has great bass, I'll explain the Lows, Mids and Highs below: Highs: Very crisp/natural Mids: Perfectly balanced Lows: Great bass, not too much not too low. Bass is only there is bass is present in the track you're listening to. Below is the genre these headphones are recommended for: Dubstep Rap (Most tracks) Any genre of rock Jazz Blues R&B Pop My personal opinion: These are the best on-a-budget headphones you can get for the amazing low price. Wayyyyyy better than the Beats by Dr. Dre Pro or any other celebrity headphone. They're stylish, a great alternative to the Beats by Dr. Dre if you were considering the Beats by Dr. Dre for looks. They're very comfortable, after using them for 10 minutes, you forget you even put them on. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone. The cable is very durable but the only Con would be it's NOT removable, but they make up for this with a very durable thick cable. GET THE COILED CABLE IT'S MUCH MORE PORTABLE THAN THE STRAIGHT CABLE! They easily fold up and can be put into the carrying pouch that comes with it. Simply great headphones. No bass enhancement, no extra tinkle, just accurate dependable headphones. Frequently I wear them for 3-4 hours at a time without fatigue, ear pain or sweating. There is a reason you will see pro studio people wearing these. Accuracy, comfort and consistency.

I have only about 7 hours on these phones, so I would still consider them being in the break-in period. Observations so far: they sound musical. What I mean is that they sound like the music is coming directly from the instruments, not through headphones. If you've ever used a pair of inferior cans, you know exactly what I mean. The sound is natural, and frequency response appears to be quite flat. These headphones do NOT have any extra bass or heavy EQ that ruin the purity of the audio material. The fit is tight but comfortable, and insulation from the ambient environment is very good. These cans are built better than my old Sony MDR-V6, which also sound neutral, natural, and pure. If you like pure music without silly things like extra bass or other sound-ruining gadgets, I would give these cans a try.

I purchased the Sony extra bass smartphone headset to use for work purposes and only wanted to spend around $20. I am using these headphones for medical transcription and they are perfect in that respect. They have a good fit and are comfortable to use for several hours at a time. If you're looking for a pair of headphones under $20, I would recommend these.

These are the standard reference headphones for audiophiles. You get them for exactly that reason. No extra bass, no extra treble, just the music as intended

These headphones are great! I kept looking for something that could out do Dr. Dre Beats and these kicked BEATS to the curb hands down and the price is great. The two year warranty is an added plus.. I love them. Great purchase.
