I used this to convert my beats three pin headphone connection to a normal connection to my headphone amp. Being that the Beat has that third line on the connector it didn't let my headphone go stereo because that third line is used for Mic or cell phone connection it would interfere. It does its job nothing else. 5 |

Why anyone spends money on Beats headphones is beyond me. These are the reference headphone standard for the price point. Flat response, compact design. Add Scruffies for the winter or when the earphone material gets chapped. 5 |

I am coming to these headphones from another excellent model, the Sendheiser 800x with Cardas Clear cable, the the new LCD-X hold there own, in fact becoming my new favorite reference headphone. These are incredibly well balanced at all frequencies, have much better bass than the 800X, yet retain exceptional clarity throughput the mids and highs. The 800x really only beats these in soundstaging. I strongly recommend using your savings from the Creator Package to purchase the Audeze top-line headphone cable that comes with the LCD-4. I found it offered more clarity and more open high end, coming closer to the openness and soundstage of the 800X. Highly recommended! 5 |
