For the work I do, I typically use monitoring headphones and never considered buying Beats, but my wife wanted a pair, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size, feel, and sound. Listening to music on these (just about any genre) sounds great and reminds me of the first time I heard my favorite music through a high end home audio receiver as a kid. I have used these headphones for editing video and voice recordings with a background of piano music. The sound is clear, present and well-balanced. The ear pads are quite comfortable. The headband is a bit too large for my head, even at the most narrow setting, but this is not a big problem. The 1/4 plug adapter may not be of great quality -- a minor issue. Having a long cord is a great feature. Well constructed and well worth the price. 5 |
