This cable is a replacement for a decent set of headphones with replacement parts. The great staff at B&H recommended these for someone like me who usually beats up gear in the field. I almost gave up on my Sony headphones... and then I found these! These velour earpads gave my headphones a new life! My old pads were wearing down and the leather was stripping off, so I bought the velour ones to replace them. The velour earpads are much softer, much more resistant to sweat (for long shoots in the sun and humidity), and don't crack or peel like the leather ones. Now I don't have to buy new headphones! 5 |

Sure beats buying the parts separately and having to solder the XLR connector. If available I should have purchased an 18 or 24 adapter cable for more flexibility in arrangement of cables. 5 |
