Great as Bluetooth headphones, over the ear wired headphones and noise cancelling. 5 |

I've had the Beats Studio wireless over-the-ear headphones for over a year and desired the same audio quality in a more portable form. These earbuds do not disappoint. If you're looking for noise-cancelling earbuds with the freedom of bluetooth then these are worth the purchase. The battery life relative to the recharging time is also very impressive. 5 |

i've had every kind of earbuds and headphones, from beats 3 on ear headphones, random wired earbuds, wireless earbuds on cords, with over ear hooks and without. i have recently bought the beans as well and they hurt so bad, i thought that i needed to get my ear used to them and wear them alot, the pain never went away. then i got these... i put them in and had no pain, i waited, no pain. i was listening to music and singing the whole day long, zoned out and happy as could be, just what i needed during this pandemic. these make me happy. i don't have pain, and they make me feel free for a little while. the color is beautiful!!!!!!!! they sound better than all the above as well. 5 |

I love these headphones. As stated in the title, I replaced my Shure SE215 in-ear monitors with these. I used Shure IEM's for traveling because of the high sound isolation provided by the triple flange ear tips. I decided to go a different direction with these because all my other headphones are Sony and I've always preferred the sound of Sony. I use Sony IEMs and Sony over-ear headphones for producing, mixing, and mastering music to give you an idea of my sound preference and experience with critical listening. The noise cancellation in the WI-1000XM2 is very comparable to the sound isolation of the Shure's. I would say with the proper fit, the noise cancellation is better, unquestionably in the low frequencies. The sound of the WI-1000XM2 is excellent. Slightly bright but not overbearing and certainly not lacking in bass. Detailed, clear, and balanced. I've already used them for traveling and love them, especially on planes. This is my first neckband headphone and it doesn't bother me. I might even say I prefer it as they can remain around my neck without constant stowing. Also, the cords to the earpieces are short won't tangle :) The build quality is excellent. I highly recommend them! 5 |

Over the ear headphones reduce ambient noise. Sound quality is very good for mono headphones. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the best headphones I've ever owned. Period. It's not just that the noise-canceling capability is phenomenal (it is), it's also that the sound quality is fantastic. When I tried them out at home, I was stunned with the sudden silence they provided before listening to music. When I tried them on an airline flight, they not only provided magnificent sound with the engine noise gone (not just reduced) but also helped create a relaxing environment for the trip. The right ear has touch controls; just swipe a finger up/down for volume and forward/back for next or previous song. Cover the ear to quickly deactivate noise-canceling to hear announcements or conversations whenever needed. These headphones are simple, easy, and intuitive, and they're everything you would expect from Sony. 5 |

I have been in search of quality, noise-canceling, in-ear headphones for a long time. In truth, I have delayed investing in a really good pair of headphones because it was always a tough cost-benefit analysis for me. However, I am also a professional vocalist and have been considering investing in a really good set of earphones that can serve as in-ear stage monitors as well. I am now so glad I purchased these headphones....the dynamic range and accuracy of these headphones is impeccable. The noise-canceling ability is, frankly, scary. I have never achieved such sound immersion and isolation with any other pair of headphones I have owned. 5 |

Due to anxiety and safety, I have never liked noise cancelling headphones. However, due to an ear surgery as a kid I cannot use earbuds or over the ear headphones. Imagine my surprise when my daughter showed me these! I ordered immediately and when they arrived a few days later I have been hooked!!!! The design is perfect for active, travel, even around the office. Calls and sound quality are excellent and I am able to be alert and aware of things going on around me. It was the perfect solution to my personal needs and a total upgrade for my need to multitask. 5 |
