I did countless research with thie Satin Silver. it is simply the best beauty dish. I did compare the White vs Satin Silver finish. From i was told The silver will be higher in contrast, with a narrower beam of light, and much cooler in colour temperature.The white on the other hand will be less contrasty and a wider angle beam of light. Both give a distinctly directional quality of light. It doesn't matter if is cooler color tone, You can adjust warmer and softer whatever you wish. I think this Satin Silver finish is the best ever after doing tons of research comparing. I'm glad got this one instead of the white Mola Setti. Please don't worry about this picture. It isn't what it look like. It look better. It is just like the white setti picture except a Silver kind of white color tone on the dish.

This flash beats the 900 I have. Great with Silver 42 umbrella and 42White umbrella shots. I use it with my Nikon D7000 and it's made for it. Light weight with all the power you need from 2 AA Batteries makes this a 1st Class all around flash.

Beats a hard BD for traveling and location shooting. I have both white and silver. The difference in light quality is enough to merit owning both. The silver produces a more focused and contrasty light. Some complain that a collapsible BD can't produce a perfectly round catch light in the eyes like a traditional hard BD. I say, So what, don't you have some pixels to peep at 100%?, none of my clients ever notice nor bother to look. The OCF Beauty Dish (Silver or White) is great!
