I'm a beginner photographer and bought this camera to learn photography and for travel. It's lightweight and functional. My only complaint, like others have stated, is the short battery life. To combat that, I bought an extra Sony battery and wall charger. I also bought the Sony 35mm f/1.8 as the main lens. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a beginner at instant photography and photography in general and this was a very easy camera to use. I had no issues following the instructions except for how to attach the wrist strap as they didn’t include that in the manual. I was able to start taking photos right away and very much enjoyed doing so. I also think the camera is very cute and I really like the color. I definitely recommend this camera for beginners as well as looking tutorials on YouTube to take the best pictures. 5 |

As a beginner of photography, I have no idea how to choose the camera gear before meet Peak Design. Leash is wonderful product to make your camera easy to handle. It is light and even you can put into your trouser pockets. I have to say the journey of photography becomes easier by Leash. 5 |

I am still a beginner in the photography world. I have been shooting with a Canon T4i for a few years now. Buying the 6D Mk II was my was my first experience with a full frame. I have been shooting with it for a couple of weeks now and I absolutely love it. It has been extremely easy navigating though the menus and settings. I have been able to see a huge difference in the quality of my pictures as well. For those of you looking to step up to a full frame and more of a professional camera but you are looking for something more budget friendly I would take a serious look at this camera. Some of the reviews I looked at had some negative for the video capabilities of this camera. Not shooting 4k was a big one. I don't shoot a lot of video so that was really a non issues for me. I wanted to upgrade to a professional level, full frame camera and had to keep with in a budget. This beauty fit the bill. I was able to get a quality body and save money to put towards some good glass. 5 |

Not an expert in photography, and hardly even a beginner. But we needed a camera for high-quality video, and this product has been fantastic. Easy to use. Video and sound quality are professional level quality. Would buy again! 5 |

This is a great beginner camera! I bought this camera for my daughter. She has gotten interested in photography and is taking classes in school. It has all the modes from P&S cameras to help her get started and it can go totally manual. I currently own a K10D and a bunch of lenses that I will be able to share with her. This camera is small and light! You will have no problem carrying this around all day! I bought it with the kit lens(it was a few dollars cheaper than body only...go figure) and it seems to be pretty sharp. The almost 5fps is nice for sports. Another nice thing is that it does wireless flash, this is great for a beginner camera! To sum it up: great starter camera than can grow with you! 5 |
