I have been using this on my Android phone and my laptop, both devices have a USB-C port and my Belkin adapter worked great on both devices. It provided an adequate charge and a stable internet connection without any issues. The adapter was immediately recognized by both devices and there was no need to install any software to make the adapter work. I use it on a workstation normally attached to ethernet, but occasionally in need of wireless access. Quick speed test on a strong signal was about 250Mbps (650Mbps on ethernet).

I no longer have to worry about the lack there of not having an ethernet port to maintain a strong connection. The added convenience of charging your minitop as well is superb. Less wires is always a good thing in my opinion.

Works as advertized. Just plug it in, download the driver, and that's it.

You need to download a newer driver than what is on the CD because there is a Linux kernel update.
