[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this adapter to connect an old VGA monitor a new Apple M1 mini. I had a lesser brand adapter performing this function previously and had an issue wherein the connection between the computer and monitor would frequently become lost, requiring the adapter to be unplugged and replugged to regain a display. I understand that this is a common problem affecting the Apple M1 line of computers. I am proud to say that in my time with this adapter I have NOT experienced this connection failure a single time. Poorly made adapters are known to exhibit flickering screens, inaccurate colors, or slow display response and I have seen none of these issues with the Belkin USB-C to VGA adapter. Likewise it was compatible with color calibration as if no adapter was present, which is the hallmark of a truly quality adapter. Belkin products are known for quality and you can trust the name. This adapter may be nominally more expensive than a no-brand counterpart but the performance, reliability, and complete lack of headaches are all worth every penny of the price without question. If you have an older VGA monitor that you want to breathe new life into this product is hands down the best solution (and far less expensive than purchasing a new monitor).

A must-have to connect to your iPhone 7, 8, & X. In my case my 6-month old Apple Lightning to headphone adapter didn't work; once I replaced it with a new one this Rode cable worked properly. BONUS: Check out the Rode SC6 to add a headphone output to the input chain!

Every once in a while you are still going to need a headphone jack adapter for music or a mic.

Belkin should have made this Headphone splitter adapter from the beginning. It does everything you want. It allows you to use your old 3.5mm headphones, charge your phone while listening to music/talking on phone, allows headphone controls to work, and also allows data passage through for syncing and file transfer. The only thing this doesn't allow is 2 headphones usage (one 3.5mm and one lightning), but Belkin already said that doesn't work on their page and that would be a rarely used option anyways (sharing on a bus or plane?). I'll probably buy another. I have the Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar and now that is wasted now (didn't allow data passage).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] @belkin earbuds are amazing it’s hybrid anc meaning it cancels any active noise has Bluetooth audio and multipoint 24h+7h battery life .I have nothing against wired headphones -- but a cord can be a nuisance. When you're working out or running, going totally wireless feels liberating. Also, most new phones these days don't have a headphone jack so you need to go wireless unless you get a Lightning or USB-C headphone or use an adapter for a standard headphone with a 3.5mm plug. I love these Belkin analog headphone adapters. I have tried the less expensive clones, but they simply don't work 100% of the time. The Belkin does. Five stars.

I have been buying Belkin products for years, including routers, intelligent switches, and, most recently, headphone adapters. This latest headphone adapter for the iPhone X is outstanding, and does everything it is claimed to do with no issues whatsoever. I have needed Belkin support twice for product information and replacement, and they have outstanding customer service. I highly recommend both this product as well as Belkin support, both world class!
