Belkin N Wireless Router Bridge Mode

I haven't had nearly enough experience to rate this router properly, but as an ardent Apple user, my experience replacing an aging 1st-gen AirPort Extreme (Time Capsule) might be of value. Overall, I have 3 AE's covering a 3000 sq' home, and they do an acceptable job (1 as primary router, 2 in bridge mode). I replaced the AE/TC router with the 2600ac with virtually no hassle; the unit powered up, was quickly configured, and now supports the other two AE's as wired wi-fi extenders. In this configuration coverage seems about the same, but ideally I will replace the other two AE's with one more 2600ac, also running in bridge mode. We'll see ... Speed-wise, wi-fi connections (those supporting 802.11ac) are now seeing 150-200Mbps, versus my old "n" speeds of around 40-50Mbps. So that's nice ...

Using in bridge mode to get WIFI inside steel workshop. The CPE510 is mounted outside on corner of overhanging roof post pointed to house with existing 5 GHz WIFI. Ethernet cable goes inside to TP-Link travel router. I now have stable, dependable high strength WIFI signal inside the building. Also wired LAN ports on the travel router if I ever need one. Very pleased.

Using single device in bridge mode, connecting to existing house/outdoor Wi-Fi, to supply internet to a router in an outbuilding. See TP-Link FAQ How to Configure the Bridge Mode on the Pharos device. Fairly easy setup, everything included in the box (PoE adapter, heavy duty zip ties) and working good so far. And the price was right. You may need an antenna mount if you don't have one already.

Works as advertised. Hardest part of setup was putting my Xfinity gateway in bridge mode, and that wasn't hard. Eliminated dead spots inside and on the back patio.

Plugged it into the the LAN (towards the router) and the other port towards the Ubiquiti bridge (ports are clearly marked) and it worked perfectly. I did add ESD protection with a driven ground between the bridge and this device, but am pretty sure this device stated it also provides that protection. I bought a spare to be safe, but suspect it will not be needed as build quality appears excellent. Thanks for selling a quality product!

We use this WR841  as an Access Point to connect wireless to a second WR841 with DD WRT  configured as a Client Bridge.   The PCs connect to the Client Bridge with Ethernet cable.  This set up allows PCs at the other end of the house to stream TV programs from the internet.   Earlier, we tried connecting the PCs with USB wireless adapters.  But the signal and data throughput from the USB adapters was  variable and unreliable.   This setup with two WR841s, in AP/Client Bridge configuration, is just about bullet proof.  We are very pleased with our purchase and highly recommend the WR841.

I'm using 2 as a wireless bridge from my house to my shed. They were very easy to setup and pair. Based on another review I did get them paired first before setting them up in their final location, great idea if you can.
