Belkin N150 Wireless Modem Router Setup Cd Download

I recently had my internet provider to increase my speed (from 150mbps download to 330mbps). It turned out that my old Wi-Fi card that I had on my PC couldn't quite handle the speed even though it was rated that it can. I bought this card out of curiosity just to see if it was the PC that was causing the bottleneck and not the card. Once I installed it, the download transfer rate just about doubled compared to the old card. In fact, the speed is about the same I'm getting if I had the network cable connected directly from the modem to the PC Ethernet port itself. Anyway, I would advise anyone to first check their wireless router or wireless modem/router to see what Wi-Fi standard it uses. If you still using an old modem/router, this card will only go as fast as that set up allows it to. 5 |

Upon doing a lot of research between other cable modem/router combos, I finally decided the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 was the best selection to fit my needs. I live in a home that is 1850 square ft and the wireless coverage reaches in all areas of the entire house with no problem as I performed multiple speed tests and the results were very consistent throughout. The setup through the router setup management interface was seamless and very user friendly. I was able to set up my 2.4Ghz, 5 GHz, and guest wireless networks in 3 minutes. I also like the fact that you can set parental controls to manage usage time and block inappropriate websites. The Netgear ReadyShare Vault is extremely handy for me so that I can share movies, pictures, and files across the network. Overall, I would highly recommend this product! 5 |

This cable modem and wireless router is the way to go! Much better than my old setup with the cable company that I had to put a wireless router behind. It eliminated many problems and I no longer have to trouble shoot between the two of them. One device and is providing me with faster internet and wireless speeds, this modem/router is the way to go for any cable user. 5 |

My old modem and router were only giving me 100-125mbps download. Rather than buy separate items I decided to go with the Orbi combo. Boy what a difference! Now I am getting 325 mbps and all our equipment is buzzing! 5 |

First off, let me say how skeptical I was about what the true performance of this cable modem/router 1 satellite setup would be. The reviews I read just seemed too good to be true. And my townhome has 3 levels throughout which to spread the wifi magic, a challenge for which my Arris Surfboard was just unable to meet. The further I got away from the router, the download speeds would drop drastically, making it difficult for my wife to work in the office and making me wonder why we were paying for all this promised speed. I tried plug-in extenders which improved things somewhat, but the long distances and numbers of walls/doors/stairs and other obstacles to my 5 GHz signal just seemed insurmountable. That is, until I got the Orbi! The cable modem / router is where the Arris lived previously on the first level, and the satellite is on the third level. My download speeds up there are nearly as good as they are next to the router, and better yet, I’m getting slightly in excess of the speed I’m paying for! What a game changer! It’s been stable, no dropped connections, and the app is fantastic. It saved us from having to open walls to run Ethernet around the house. I’m really satisfied, and at least in this instance, I got what I paid for! 5 |

I replaced my old modem/router with this modem and a stand alone router. This modem provides the full bandwidth available from my ISP (one gigabit per second). With 32 download channels and 8 upload channels you're no longer limited by your modem bandwidth. Don't settle for less than the fastest download and uploads - why waste your own time when this modem gives best performance at a great price. Modem was extremely easy to setup and I was connected to ISP within about 5 minutes. 5 |

This modem replaced my internet service provider's cable tv router/modem w/voice that had the been reduced to just a modem for the internet over the last few years as I eliminated the other services. Then I realized that I was not getting anywhere near the download speeds (250Mbps) I was paying for and knew it wasn't because of an overburdened router/modem or my Netgear R7800 X4S router. So I replaced the router/modem with the CM1000 and lo and behold happy days were here again! My expected download speed was not only achieved but exceeded as well on some days! Setup was a breeze even though I still checked in with my provider just to make sure everything was as it was suppose to be. The CM1000 coupled with my R7800 does not only satisfy my needs presently but will also do so if I need to make the jump to 1Gbps download speeds in the future. I certainly do recommend the CM1000 to anyone who desires "the need for speed"! 5 |
