Went from an older generation Nighthawk. The RAXE300 has unbelievable capacity, speed and coverage!

I purchased this as a replacement for my first generation Apple AirPort Extreme that had a failing fan. I did not need wireless in a router because my current home setup already has an independent solution. My only concern was speed. I have several test routers and none of them could deliver the maximum bandwidth that my ISP provides. After running the extremely easy setup it was obvious that speed was not an issue with this router. Even with traffic analysis enabled there is no speed, ram, or cpu issues. Best router for the money on the market.

Installed this router replacing an earlier generation docsis 3.0 router and saw an immediate upgrade in my speed from my ISP. As much as 30% faster

This router replaces a first generation Netgear AC router and provides strong signal and a step up in speed. Setup through the iPhone app was a snap.

Very nice looking product, easy to set up, reliable connection all the time. It gives me full bandwidth 225mbps. I get 225mbps with a direct connection from modem also. The point has a speaker, you can use it as a google mini, nice addition over generation 1. Problem: ------------------ 1. Only the router is not enough for my 2-bed room apartment (1200 sqft). I installed it in the living room, and one of the rooms is getting 30mbps only. But with the point, all the rooms are now covered. 2. The point has no outgoing port unlike generation 1. 3. The router has no speaker, only the point has.

Upgrading from a 4th generation Apple AirPort Extreme to this RT2600AC was a breeze! I have a DS415+ NAS as well so it made sense to keep everything Synology and I'm so happy I did! I went from ~70Mbps to over 110Mbps just by upgrading the router!! Granted, I'm paying for 100Mbps FiOS, so you can tell that the router has DEFINITELY made a huge impact. Plus, I get a FULL signal where I had NO signal. Game-changer right there!

This extender can pick up weak signal from router and extend the signal to a larger range. I compared it with a old generation extender and it definitely perform much better than the old one.
