The pivot plugs help utilize more outlets when using odd sized and shaped plugs. This also has a higher joules rating than competitor products providing more protection.

This surge protector is unique because the flat plug rotates so the cord can be made to change it's angle to the outlet. This is fantastic. I'm glad I got it.

I went from a desktop to a laptop; and, wanted a surge protector to plug in the laptop in the living room, which would not stand out. This surge protector is relatively flat, attractive, and unobstrusive. Eight outlets makes it practical to plug in other devices.

I used this in conjunction with a small belkin surge protector and didn't have any issues in Argentina.
