I have purchased other Belkin surge protectors and I think they are good value for the money. They appear to be well made for their reasonable price. This unit works as expected. The not grounded light informed me that the outlet I was going to plug the unit into was in fact not grounded.

I put this in my office and was able to plug in my computer, printer, wi-fi router, and fan. There was plenty of availability for other items as well if I need it. I trust the Belkin name to protect my products and I felt that my items are well protected from surges with this item.

This surge protector is exactly what I needed for my daughters room. The rotating outlets works perfectly for what we needed to plug in, everything is now safe and no crazy wires going everywhere. The outlets are very easy to maneuver and love how the surge protector is on the wall in the existing outlet instead of being on a floor or mounted somewhere.

An overlooked factor on surge protectors are the placement of the plugs, and with this outlet, you have 2 plugs separated from the group for bulkier chargers to fit like a laptop or phone charger. Usually you have to rearrange and even lose a socket or two because bulky chargers take up too much room...well, this Belkin tries to help mitigate that. Overall, you have 8 outlets to choose from and installation is as simple as it gets. Unbox and plug it in.
