Belkin Usb Extension Cable Driver

The cable is compatible to my Belkin 7-Port USB Hub.

This USB 2.0 Active Extension Cable comes as two 16' cables NOT one 32 cable. ......I hooked the two cables together connected my Nikon D200 to my laptop and it worked perfect. A 15MB photo downloaded in two seconds. As it turns out I'm glade it comes as a two cables.

It’s actually braided silicone, so is sturdy and should hold up a long time. You can feel the difference with this cable vs others, while just holding it in your hand. It’s also got a magnetic strap with a small stick on metal plate, so you can mount the cable nearly anywhere you want to. This definitely lives up to the Belkin name in terms of quality. I’d definitely recommend it to others.

This is not like the cheap cables where connectors are wiggling and shaking when connected. The belking metal connectors fit snugly in the Type-A and Type-C ports we plugged them into, staying firmly in place with minimal wiggling. If you want a high quality cable, this is it.

I needed to replace a Focusrite Scarlette 2i2 that was having driver issues with Windows 11. This Peavey USB-P needs no drivers and has worked flawlessly, so far. My only issue was that it did not include the USB type B cable. I scavenged a cable from a USB-connected printer, until I can purchase a new cable.

The Yamaha USB MIDI driver did not move forward from iMac High Sierra to Mac Studio Ventura without using Rosetta emulator - which so far I have not been inclined to do. I started looking around for USB/MIDI wizardry and found this item. It works perfectly with no Yamaha drivers. Naturally, this cable does not fully expose the MO8 like the driver does. What it exposes is a bunch of routable and assignable MIDI channels. After testing, I was relieved to find out the cable itself is seen as a proper MIDI device, and discovered by Mac OS, and integrated perfectly in both DAWs I tested. (Pro Tools, Logic) On the keyboard side, the MIDI channels follow the parts in multi-timbral operation which is how I use the MO8. I have lost very little, if anything. So far, no delay compensation has been required.  And the price is great. And its wonderful. And I'm happy.

This is a high quality USB C extension cable. Would be nice if it was available in other length as well.
