This model is one that is compatible with Xfinity. I was surprised how much technology has changed because my previous NetGear modem did not require a router but this one does. I think some information needs to be added to the outside of the packaging to tell the user to buy a router while they’re at the store buying the modem!! I also don’t understand why the modem has a password because as I set the new system up, I needed to use the router name and created a password. Hopefully I got everything set up correctly - - I am able to connect to WiFi using the router name. 5 |

My only complaint was the lack of clearly written instructions or diagrams on how to set them up. We had to go online for answers but that was even difficult. Thankfully our son is a tech nerd and was able to set them up for us. Other than that, they are great earbuds! 5 |
