Ben 10 Camera Digital

I've ben really impressed with the image quality of the camera since I purchased it. Focus is fast with the 12-60 & 50-200. Even the 50mm seems faster. OVF is much brighter and larger than previous 4/3 cameras. I normally don't shoot much above iso 800 or so, and haven't noticed any noise in some good sized prints I've made. Maybe at 100% on screen at close range some grain its visible, but I didn't see it in any real world situations... Have used it out I'm the rain with no issues, and love using the articulating monitor to get some really unique framing/views, resulting in shots I wouldn't have gotten with a fixed screen.

I've had 10 different digital cameras. I've done professional video and stills throughout my working life. My G9II (and Gh6) is the best camera I've ever used. The AF on the G9II for BIF and sports is extremely good. The video is a professional grade documentary or B roll cinema camera. Pair it with Panasonic PL grade lenses and it becomes a tool with which you can do your best work. The handheld hires is amazing.

I bought this camera to make the leap from a digital point and shoot to a digital SLR. I last used an old film SLR 10 yrs ago, so it'll be nice to see what I remember and learn even more about photography. I'm very happy the camera accepts AA lithium batteries and there is a lengthy printed operating manual too. Additionally, there are more than enough manual settings for my needs. Lastly, the price is right and was lowest on B&H! I haven't found any cons yet.

Granted I had been using a 10 year old lens on my digital SLR camera so anything would be an improvement, but I love this lens! The image stabilization is great and the focus is fast and accurate. I also think that the range of focus is perfect for most who like the flexibility to take a wide landscape shoot then quickly zoom onto something interesting far away. My only concern for others is that the lens is heavy but that doesn't bother me.

I am a big fan of Thinktank photo cases, and the Digital Holster 10 works very well for me. I use it with my Sony RX 10 Mk4 with the lens shade reversed. The case/camera combination provides excellent protection for the camera and easy access for the photographer.

This is a must have. If you own Nikon 1 J5 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 10-30mm the automatic lens cover works the same way. No more fumbling around with the lens cap (Imagine yourself doing nighttime shoots).
