Benq Computer Monitors Reviews
AidanInman03 | 2024-04-13 09:53:42 |
I have been using this monitor for almost a year now and haven't had a single issue. For context I have gone through 6 monitors and non of them were Asus. Every monitor I bought before cheep or expensive had issues that made them unusable. I was hesitant at first to buy the VG27AQ because of some bad reviews but after only buying monitors with better reviews and recommendations I decide to try it out and it was perfect. I use my computer for a lot of different things including video/photo editing, gaming, cad, YouTube and this monitor can do it all. Having 1440p was perfect for 27 inches and 165hz instead of 240hz was perfect since my computer couldn't maintain 240hz at 1440p on pervious monitors. I don't know why I was so skeptical of Asus when choosing my monitor, given that the first computer I built comprised of all Asus parts excluding the ssd and chassis. I feel like they get bad credit especially in reviews but I think it's just because they have so many products and the demand is so high. The best thing about this monitor is that it put my full confidence in Asus and I am planning on buying an Asus laptop with the same screen spec to pair up with my AMAZING monitor! Thank you Asus, you have made your place in my heart. P.S. If anyone was wondering what laptop I am referring to it's the new ROG Zephyrus G15 Ultra Slim rtx3080 and specifically moonlight white because OMG it looks so good! 5 |

Like most I had been using 2-24 monitors for years. But the amount of space taken up with those monitors and wires and dongles... was a bit much. I looked for the largest desktop, non-curved and not a TV to use for my desk and came across this Benq. Sure it's not 4k, but that's why I have my MacBook Pro 14's XDR quality display for... checking colors and accuracy. The Benq is for getting things organized and done. Pricey, but well worth the gain in workflow for myself : ) 5 |

My two SW272U's and the BenQ support folks in one word ... AWESOME!!! First off, I've have never seen a company packed the way BenQ does, it's the coolest packing my wife and I have ever seen. Extremely well thought out ... KUDO's to BenQ. The monitors themselves took minutes to setup and the picture on both are beautiful. We also had B&H send out a x-rite Display Plus HL and a pair of OWC Thunderbolt 4 ... 2.0 meter long. The TB4 are DisplayPort Alt Mode capable. The cables that came with the monitors are USB Type C and for our layout, they were a little short, the 2.0 meters was perfect and Palette Master Ultimate found both monitors using these 4TB, I mention this because not all cables are DisplayPort Alt Mode capable. If you are going to connect this to any Apple and need extra cable feet, this is the way to go. The stand that the monitors come with are built really well and the monitors keep perfectly level on them, not top heavy, really easy to move side to side, up and down, 90 degree. Now here's the part that cracks me up, the wife now once me order a Canon Photo printer from B&H so she start printing out and framing photos she likes and that's kinda of why we got these monitors ... for their true screen to print representation, and when we do that, I review that as well 5 |

BenQ monitors are high quality at a good price. I use this one as a second monitor when needed. It uses a standard 3 prong cord directly ,which you can get anywhere. No special adapter is a plus. Controls are easy to use. Speakers are low power but usable if needed. B&H has good prices, reliable delivery of products and free shipping! 5 |

I have used Benq monitors for years. It is not a smart TV, so no extra complicated connectivity or constant updates. It works as reliably as an old analogue monitor, just plug it in and you have a reliable picture. Colors are accurate straight out of the box, no glare. Replaced my Pro Display XDR with this panel, and the biggest difference is the blacks aren't as deep. But other than that, this panel is a lovely IPS monitor with reliable 4k resolution for detailed editing. I cannot recommend this panel enough. 5 |

This monitor has some of the highest gammas for its price. Whether you're a photographer wanting to look at Adobe RGB colors, a designer wanted to check Pantone colors, or a Videographer wanting to preview in Rec 709 and even HDR spaces for Netflix shows, this monitor has it all. I know I sound like a commercial or a fake review, but I'm excited. I tried several monitors, even from Benq, and I landed on this one. most importantly the Benq customer service is top-notch. The only small headache is that you might get a defective unit, with a stick or dead pixel. If that happens, as it happened to me, Benq will do right by you, and you'll be using one of the best monitors for this price out there. Like I'm doing right now. 5 |

Despite the hefty price tag, I gave it a try because I have had a BenQ Gaming monitors from long ago which lasted till now when I figured its time to upgrade to the newer techs. 165Hz and curvature really made gaming more immersive & oh man, the speakers were really a great addition. Hear for yourself, I never knew speakers would make such a difference in the overall gaming experience. It is premium in build from every angle....despite the price lol, but it's worth it I'd say 5 |

I got a couple new DisplayPorts to connect my BenQ monitors with my Dell 6000S docking station. These are super solid! I like how they sort of clip into each socket so they never fall out on their own. 5 |

I've been using two 21 1920x1080 monitors for processing my images on my Windows 11 PC using Lightroom and Topaz Photo AI. While that worked well, I noticed disturbing things when I printed the processed images; they were not as sharp as I had thought, and the colors were a bit off. So, I started searching for a 4K monitor with great quality color rendering. My photography mentor, Ina, uses a BenQ monitor for identical work using her Mac, so I contacted my go-to supplier, B&H, for a technical talk and recommendation. Their product specialist probed me for all the uses I was trying to satisfy, then suggested the BenQ PD3220U. Over the years, I've purchased lots from B&H and used their experts extensively, so I went for it. The monitor arrived promptly, which is no surprise, and installed easily. Windows recognized it right away, already had the appropriate drivers, and figured out the correct 3840x2160 resolution. I was on my way. I’ve run about 2,000 images through it now and it is perfectly color calibrated and super sharp. Plus, it's got so much screen space that it alone is like having several monitors when using other apps. I'm a totally happy camper!!! 5 |

I use a Mac Studio for all my photo work. I had a pair of really nice NEC photo monitors, but they were 10+ years old and showing their age. I wanted to upgrade from a 26 to 32 inch monitor and after a ton of research went with the BenQ SW321c. OMG, what a difference! I purchased mine with the calibration device, as my original one was also about 10 years old. I could not believe how easy calibration was and the final results. I also could not believe how easy it was to edit and print my photos. The monitor comes with a puck, so the calibration can be instantly changed based on the intended use of the image (screen, print, B&W, etc); incredible. So after about a year and a half struggling with an NEC on one side and the BenQ on the other, I pulled the trigger and purchased a second. Before I made the purchase I contacted BenQ to see if I could buy just the panel and not all the other stuff that comes with it (light blocker, stand, cables etc), but they don't offer it that way. I might suggest B&H consider getting a bespoke consignment of monitor-only BenQ panels for folks like me that will be mounting the monitor on swing arms and don't need all the other stuff. I bet the customer-base for this monitor is similar to me, in that many have multiple monitors and are semi-professional or professionals. I hate dumping all that stuff in a landfill, so hopefully these comments will prompt B&H to put together a multi-monitor package for people like me. 5 |
