Benq Vs Dell Gaming Monitor

I'm an amateur photographer and wanted something better to edit my photos on. I upgraded to the Benq SW240 from my old Dell tp monitor. The difference is startling. When using the Dell monitor, the brightness of the monitor depended greatly on the viewing angle. If I were to lean back in my chair, the monitor would get darker. When using the Benq the viewing angle makes no difference. The picture is always the same - beautiful. Also, I had read of problems connecting a desktop to a monitor with greater than 1920x1080 resolution using HDMI. My Dell 3847 Inspiron with Intel 4600 integrated graphics connected with the Benq with the 1920x1200 resolution with no problem. 5 |

WoW! This replaces a 9 yo Dell color accurate monitor that is now failing. It was good in its day but BenQ SW240 blows it out of the water. I calibrated it with the i1Display Pro using the i1Profiler software and what I see on the screen is what I get after printing. BenQ's calibrating software is easy to use but I find the Profiler to be quite accurate. I purchased the monitor at a time when the shading hood was included but I think that is no longer the case. If you are shopping for a 24 color accurate monitor at a reasonable price then get this. The worst that happens is you can send it back if you don't like it but I doubt that's what you will do. It's a keeper! 5 |

I needed a second monitor to go along with my excellent, but now discontinued Dell U2518D Ultrasharp, previously purchased from B&H. I had looked at numerous options and finally deferred to the B&H specialists for advice. The Benq PD200D was one of the options they suggested. Knowing Benq's reputation for building great pro grade monitors for graphic work, I decided to go that route. I am so glad that I did. This monitor provides outstanding sharpness and full range color. It is an excellent tool for my photo and video editing work, and it is exactly the same size as my 25 Dell. The price point was surprising low for a monitor or this quality. Thank you to the folks at B&H for suggesting the Benq PD 2500Q. I am very pleased with this purchase! 5 |

Acquired this unit to replace an older smaller monitor for use in a non critical every day general use station [ email- word processing- bill paying etc and used by the grandchildren for gaming. This Benq fit the task ideally….. excellent picture quality – color- contrast clarity for its price range and the larger size is a pleasant upgrade. The gaming performance is a enjoyable surprise I have had very good luck with Benq products in the past and this unit appears to be no exception 5 |

This was used to replace my wife's 27 Dell gaming monitor which performed fantastic, but died with vertical lines starting and growing to be worse and worse. She is not a gamer, but the color is great with this IPS monitor, and it does not have glare issues like most monitors do these days. I swear that whoever builds this unit also builds the Dell she had before - they both seem very similar. 5 |

This monitor really is something else. I'm upgrading from a pretty budget Dell gaming monitor, same 27 size, but every other spec is a huge upgrade. The colors are vibrant, it responds insanely fast, and the framerate and clarity of motion is completely unmatched on the market currently. Coming from a 1080p monitor, the pixel density has far surpassed my previous experience. Additionally, the monitor has a lot of tools to help you get a long life out of it as well that prevent burn-in. The monitor is fantastic for the form factor. I won’t say that it’s perfect. I’m still getting used to the glossy finish of the screen. It sometimes takes a few seconds to alt-tab out of a game. Still, the monitor is the best thing I’ve laid my eyes on and it’s been an absolute pleasure to use. I highly recommend it! 5 |

I bought this to go from a BenQ monitor to my CPU. It seems to be doing the job! 5 |

Despite the hefty price tag, I gave it a try because I have had a BenQ Gaming monitors from long ago which lasted till now when I figured its time to upgrade to the newer techs. 165Hz and curvature really made gaming more immersive & oh man, the speakers were really a great addition. Hear for yourself, I never knew speakers would make such a difference in the overall gaming experience. It is premium in build from every angle....despite the price lol, but it's worth it I'd say 5 |

I got a couple new DisplayPorts to connect my BenQ monitors with my Dell 6000S docking station. These are super solid! I like how they sort of clip into each socket so they never fall out on their own. 5 |

After researching between Dell, LG and BenQ I finally decided for the PD3225U after watching many excellent reviews of the previous model (PD3220U) and seeing that for extra $100 I'd get IPS black and higher contrast ratio. Paired it with my M1 Max and couldn't be happier. Plus color calibrated for Mac right out of the box! And 31.5 is a great size! 5 |
