The reason I ordered a new battery was the fact that my battery in the camera was at least 15 years old and I had to be sure I had a back up for the event. This is my third battery and the first Sony 9 hour battery died about at 12 years. They can record up to about 750 minutes if you don't use the flip out monitor. I prefer to use my view finder, because I feel that you pay better attention to what you are videoing. I do the same with my Nikon DSL camera. I always charge my battery within 24 hours after using it. I now they are worth the money. Paul 5 |

So far I've only used them twice. The battery didn't even go down on them hardly at all. Used for an hour and then the other was for only a 15 to 20min recording. I think the quality is good. But I haven't had much experience so the verdict is still out. So far this kit is great for a budget daily deal find. 5 |
