Best 27 Ips 1080P Monitor For Gaming

I bought the Dell 27 4K UHD HDR IPS monitor to pair with a HP mini workstation. It's not quite as elegant as my BenQ monitor that I use for photo processing, but it's significantly cheaper and will be used mainly for work and general computer usage. I consider it a good purchase. 5 |

Love everything about this monitor. I was on a 27 1440p 270Hz IPS monitor for the past few years and finally decided to try OLED out. The colors and motion clarity are amazing. 5 |

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This IPS 4k monitor replaces an aging 2k IPS 27", mainly used for photo editing, browsing and office-oriented document creation. The image quality is very good out-of-the-box, even better after calibration. The image is also very uniform, I don't see bleeding when displaying a black surface in a dark room. The stand is sturdy and provides the adjustments I need (height and tilt). The surface increase from 27" to 31,5" is a real improvement. For photographs browsing and editing it's outstanding, it has never been easier to explore a picture at different levels while keeping the whole view by moving back a little. For other activities it's easier to work with many documents open, like on a non-virtual desktop. The unique problem I had was a compatility one with my desktop environment, Linux Mint 21.3 with Xorg graphics and a passive Nvidia Geforce GT 710 card. When calibrating the monitor the software (dispcal) detected clipping. Also the mouse was quite laggy. The card is only able to drive a 4k monitor at 30hz (which is OK for me, I don't play games), but the monitor was driven at 60hz. Setting manually the frequency at 30hz solved the clipping and the mouse lag. Overall this monitor is a great buy. 5 |

Great monitor for gaming and productivity. Being an IPS panel the colors are great but with the downsides of having less contrast when compared to a VA panel. Pick your poison I guess. Overall I am very happy after having switched from a Samsung G9 which while impressive was just too big for my desk. 5 |

To start, the photo is to try to compare the new MSI QD-OLED with my IPS monitor. The photo really does not do it justice but I tried, in person this QD-OLED makes the IPS look very washed out and dull. That said, this is the best monitor available for gaming. It is 1440p which is a nice middle ground of good pixel density for this screen size while still being not too bad in trying to push a high frame rate (you will not be able to get a high frame rate from a 4k monitor). The 360hz refresh rate on oled means this monitor also has amazing motion clarity which makes it really good for competitive games while still looking amazing for more scenic games thanks to the QD-OLED panel. Also unlike some other OLED panels out there, this one does not use a matte coating so it looks much better. This monitor is also nice for watching tv or movies, while it has many nice things for games, this is still a QD-OLED so it has amazing color and contrast. So it's a great multimedia consumption device altogether. Two other nice things is a 90 watt usb-c port with DisplayPort which should help keep desk setup stay looking clean. Monitor stand is nice and heavy so the monitor doesn't wiggle around while you are typing or gaming. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been on the market for a gaming monitor. I wanted something that wasn’t just HDR compatible, was high refresh rate, at least 30”, and 1440p. I was upgrading from a 144Hz, 1080p monitor that was 37”, way too big for 1080p. I saw the 32” G7 in a store and ordered it shortly after. This monitor is everything I was wanting. I didn’t think I’d like the curvature of the display, but I think it helps further envelope me in games. The refresh rate is more than ample for my needs. My desktop won’t be driving AAA games at 240Hz, but Nvidia G-sync helps with that. Colors are vibrant for a standard LCD panel and the 1440p resolution is just enough for gaming without stressing my system by pushing 4K. The built-in speakers are serviceable. They have RGB lighting that is controlled via the monitor itself. I would like to plug it in via USB and have an app for controlling it, but the OSD is fine. There’s also an RGB light ring on the back. It would also have been nice if it adapted to whatever the monitor was displaying. But those are two small complaints in an otherwise great monitor that will suit my needs for years. 5 |

Very good and cheap monitor for 1080p gaming or a good seconday monitor, I had no issues with this the size is also perfect for 1080p, if you go up to like 27-32 inches monitor (1080p) it gets blurry, If you want a budget monitor buy this honest (any card should be able to get 165hz on this ez) 5 |

Arguably the best budget 1080p gaming monitor that you can buy. Great colors, even though its a little saturated, but I like that look. Impressive features like Freesync, 165hz (up to 180hz OC), 1ms response time (although a bit misleading), and its IPS panel. It's sharp, has good customizability, and is overall very good. There isnt really anything bad I can say about this monitor. BUY IT! 5 |
