I purchased the Leica MP with a 35mm F/2 Summicron and use this for general walk-around/travel photography. I don't consider myself a street photographer, but I've been intrigued with rangefinder cameras for quite some time. Build quality is amazing. The camera feels like a solid block of metal. I would have preferred a match needle meter instead of the LED lights, but there's really not much to complain about. I'm a left-eye shooter, so things can get a little uncomfortable with the winder, but I'm used to that from my older cameras. Holding the camera properly takes some getting used to. I found myself covering the rangefinder mirror on the right side by accident on a few occassions. Also, I wish faster shutterspeeds were available, but I understand there are limitations due to the type of shutter used. Overall, the MP is a pleasure to use, and is quickly becoming my favorite camera.

These wraps are handy to protect rangefinder cameras and smaller lens for 35mm SLR's. They come in different colors, so one can use different colors to distinguish different lenses. The Velcro makes them easy to secure around lens and smaller cameras. 'Just make sure you order the correct size. Very useful and recommended.

If you are a Leica fan, a 35mm film shooter, and believe in the virtues of the rangefinder system, the MP will satisfy your needs. It is a lot of money, but it is a brilliant piece of gear that will do what you want it to do. I use two other Leica cameras, M6's, so this the perfect addition to my system. You will be glad you made the purchase.

I would gladly shoot this film again and again! Best B&W film for the price. Shot my first roll of Kentmere 100 with a rangefinder and super sharp glass, developed with Kodak HC-110 Dilution H, and the results were stunning. Great latitude and compares well with other traditional B&W films I've used.

I use this bag for two rangefinder film cameras and an extra lens. Fits a Leica M5, and Leica iiia with lens attached perfectly plus one more lens. I can also fit my Nikon FM3a w/lens plus a rangefinder w/lens. Room in the front two pockets for filters or my variable CPL. Extra film is in the same spot as the cameras or lens. A great kit for a full day and photowalk. It sits really comfortable as a sling over my shoulder. The Antique Cognac leather and brass fittings are beautiful. The craftsmanship is obvious. This bag is very well made. I also really like how the bag is weathering from use. I am excited to use this bag every time I load it. I can totally visualize buying another ONA for my digital kit.

Great little plates for my MFT cameras and older film rangefinder cameras. Priced great compared to RRS.
