Best 4080 Super Card

I downgraded from a 4090 to a ROG Strix 4080 super because it's such a beautiful card and well crafted. It's the prettiest white card on the market. The price was steep but I was willing to pay for the best. Quiet and cool. Amazing temps and Asus managed to get the coil whine under control for the most part compared to my other Asus Tuf 4090 and other Strix 4080's. I wish I could afford the white 4090 Strix. I love Asus SO much.

Gigabyte wasn't my first choice for a 4080 Super but with how difficult it's been to get a card anywhere, when I saw this was in stock I had to move. Boy have I been pleasantly surprised! The first thing that impressed me was their support bracket design. It screws directly in to the shroud and is supported by an anchor that screws in/stands off from the motherboard. I guess mileage may very depending on your motherboard and case but but for a run-of-the-mill ATX motherboard, the support was easy to install and holds the monster card perfectly flat. As for performance, it's everything I expected and more! I'm not playing super mega ultra quality raytraced Cyberpunk so I can't comment on that (though I've heard it performs well in that regard). But I'm running Helldivers 2, Nightingale and Enshrouded at max everything and I'm having no issues getting max frames on a 144Hz monitor at 1440p. And even under 90-100% utilization, I'm rarely over 60c with fan speeds at 50% so it's cool and quiet. Highly recommend!

This is the best value Nvidia card if you value 16GB VRAM since the 4080 Super does not include more. It comes with a GPU stand to prop it up, which is a very nice if you don't already have one since the GPU is rather heavy. The only problem I've had with the card is when I first got it had very noticeable coil whine, but after using it for a month the coil whine seems to be much less than it was before. I do not even notice it anymore. It's played every game I've thrown at it perfectly at 1440p, so far.

Great card! I appreciate B&H selling it at MSRP and honoring their waitlist. Great company! This 4080 Super is handling everything, upgraded from a 3070 Ti FTW.

Aweome Graphics Card!!! The Asus 4080 TUF Gaming graphics card is a huge step up from my Nvidia 2080. Performance is fantastic and ray tracing, where the future is, is a big step up that AMD cannot touch even with their new cards. I am so glad I bought the Asus 4080. The card stays super cool even when overclocked. The TUF card looks so good in my system and blows the competition away. Great job Asus!!

This card was my upgrade card from a Strix 3080ti, the strix 4080 and 4090 are to rich for my blood.

I got frustrated and confused of what’s the position of this card in the market, If you want an RTX 4080 and a little bit slower, And I meant it little bit slower go ahead and buy it. When I bought it B&H as usual shipped it to me in no time, it was out the same day launch day and it got me the next day no kidding, Whatever their system tells you trust me, It is precise. I was super stoked that I got it and tried it, BUT i had RTX 4080 so I didn’t understand why I bought it. Nvidia been deceiving all Nvidia gamers and made us feel the new card was a big deal. Unfortunately Nvidia gonna suffer the consequences, They are affecting the stores that are selling their products and I hope soon all stores will never sell their graphics cards, It’s a very losing business for them. Anyways, IF you never had an RTX 4080 and been using an RTX 2080 Ti, then it’s time to upgrade. One more thing please do not support their bad business and buy the 3000 series, The 2000 series is the same exact thing but all over priced. Please keep in mind Nvidia is different in 2 areas, Ai and Ray tracing are their strong pillars, It’s a tech company that lacks sales tactics.

Although the 4080 series is overpriced some. I was able to sell my old card making the upgrade not as bad. That being said, every time I have purchased something from this website they have had great customer service and my package gets delivered within a day or two. The card itself is great and made with complete metal with no plastic aside from the fans. When I tested the card I nearly doubled my performance in most games which I was not expecting, so if this card ever drops below 1000$ It is worth it for sure. I have no bad things to say about the card and I'm and every happy with my purchase.

Man this 4080 is so beautiful and is easily the best looking graphics card out there not to mention performance is so good on the card and clock speeds are amazing and it’s extremely easy to over clock the card I would recommend this to anyone who’s looking to build an awesome PC
