Best 4K Monitor For Gaming With G Sync

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "I had the opportunity to try out a 4K gaming monitor with G-Sync, and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with the performance. The 27-inch display may be a bit smaller than some other options on the market, but the high resolution and fast refresh rate make for a stunning visual experience. One of the standout features of this monitor is the G-Sync technology, which helps to eliminate screen tearing and input lag. This is especially useful when playing fast-paced games or when using a high refresh rate, as it helps to keep the gameplay feeling smooth and responsive. In terms of connectivity, the monitor has a range of inputs including HDMI and DisplayPort, making it easy to connect to a variety of devices. The on-screen display is easy to navigate and allows for a range of adjustments to be made, including color calibration and the ability to turn on and off various features such as the G-Sync technology. Overall, I was extremely happy with the performance of this 4K gaming monitor with G-Sync and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality display that delivers an immersive and smooth gaming experience. The smaller size makes it a great fit for any setup." 5 |

Great monitor, a big improvement over my previous 32 4K G-Sync Predator. Much lighter, easy to setup. I use it for work and gaming and it works well with both my M1 MacBook Pro (HDMI) and gaming PC build (DP) - compatible with my GeForce RTX 4080. 5 |

Good color accuracy out of the box and no problems using it for gaming at 4K. Not a professional monitor, but excellent for general purpose work and some photo editing. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first ever gaming monitor I’ve ever owned or bought. I bought this monitor for my PlayStation 5!! And I have No regrets well worth the price I use to game on my Samsung 4K tv which has a refresh rate of 120hz but it only had the HDMI 2.0 input at first I thought it was going to be weird going from a 55” Tv to a 27” monitor but right off that bat it just doesn’t compare gaming in a 27 inches is perfect for gaming I was doing it all wrong! And the 4K quality looks better on my LG monitor than it did on my Samsung TV and now I can take Advantage of the 120FPS features on certain games for my PS5 overall I’m very happy with my new monitor and would for sure recommend it to my friends or anyone to buy it if they can. 5 |

I've switched to this after 1.5 years with AW3423DW, because Apex and Rocket League have been the majority of my gaming hours. The productivity loss wasn't that bad, and the stand shape leaves room for another monitor if needed. The visuals seem on par with the Dell, but the smoothness is a noticeable upgrade. It is especially clear in Rocket League with its rough transitions when playing the ball cam (like you normally should). 540 Hz monitors with strobing have even better motion clarity but I won't put up with ghosting nor the hit to image quality. The timing around Apex's vulnerability deprived me of the most relevant comparison, but even a similar frame rate looks better in The Division 2. Unlike Rocket League, this must come down to a massive improvement in total latency from superior processing time. AW34D3W was unusually bad for OLEDs, while this MSI tops the charts. The monitor supports 4K input for downsampling the image from modern consoles and media players. The flipside is that PC games detected the monitor as 4K when using exclusive fullscreen, but the borderless option is taking over anyway (DX12 doesn't even have exclusive fullscreen). The connectivity is an upgrade as well: 2 genuine HDMI 2.1 and a 90W PD USB-C are amazing to have. There are also the usual 2 USB-A ports and a backup DP 1.4, too. Software-wise, this is completely fine out of the box unlike certain Samsungs and Dells were. A DSC toggle and separate color profiles for SDR & HDR should come with a future firmware, and the only other quirk is monitor turning off rather than going back to standby after a pixel refresh on idle. For pure gaming performance, this is the best OLED at the joint lowest price for this panel. I haven't been able to identify a caveat here. It is a great time to be an OLED aficionado. 5 |

I've been using a 4k screen for a couple of years, but it was a Samsung TV as I wanted a larger screen and nothing in the monitor space yet existed. It was a good experience, I didn't have any issues - regardless of what people say about using TVs as monitors. However, once I noticed that OLED monitors were coming around, I considered going back. I wasn't crazy about dealing with burn-in and the odd ways manufactures try to prevent it. Instead, I wanted to see what Samsung was up to in the gaming monitor space. I came across this and was immediately drawn in because of the high fresh rate and it being 4k. I didn't consider the G8 because I didn't think the even higher refresh rate warranted the extra cost. Once I got the G7 connected, it was like playing games for the first time. Cyberpunk looked incredibly better than my 4k TV, colors popped and I could see details that I couldn't previously. The curvature is a bit odd at first, especially in Windows, but for gaming, I really like it. The high refresh rate was a new experience as well - I hadn't had anything higher than 60Hz, so again it was a new experience. This makes a big different not only in gaming, but using Windows - everything is so smooth. The height adjustment was another helpful feature as I needed it to be in a specific place. Without it, I would have had to use a box or something else unsightly. I'm not an RGB person, but found that I liked messing with the colors and do leave a solid color on most of the time. My only complaint, is the buttons to control the settings. I have some business monitors for work that are also Samsung and they use the same buttons. It's not my favorite and it feels a bit cheap. For an $1100 monitor, I'd expect a bit more, but it's not something I use often. I feel the monitor is on the expensive side, but it is worth it if you have the machine to push high end graphics to it. 5 |
