Best 88 Key Midi Controller Fully Weighted
Peggy | 2024-07-14 01:15:17 |
I have a fully weighted, 88 key MIDI controller and it does not move. I’m serious, it’s solid. Also, as the title suggests, it came ready to go. I opened the box, took it out, and set it up in 10 seconds. 5 |

The Hammer 88 is a no frills MIDI controller with a nice weighted action. Construction seems solid. A pretty good buy for the price. 5 |

I'm using two of these, one for a full-size 88 key MIDI controller with a smaller pad controller, the other for a full-size 2-manual electric organ. Both fit perfectly. the covers have considerable stretch - the former is 51 x 14 x 7 inches, the latter 41 x 15 x 9 inches. Excellent product. 5 |

This is a solid MIDI controller with nice feeling semi-weighted keyboard. It has lots of integrated controls for modulating the included Arturia synth plugins and good integration with many popular DAW software packages. I opted for the semi-weighted 61 key version due to recovering from 60+ years of making parts and hand issues. There is an 88 key piano weighted version also. 5 |

Easy to assemble, and feels sturdy for 88-key controller. 5 |

Exactly as I expected, 88 fully weighted keys giving a realistic classic piano approach and ideal for practicing jazz. I’m happy with the deal I got, good price too you won’t find somewhere else. 5 |

This is the perfect piano for my small apartment. With full weighted keys and 88 key keyboard. It's just what I needed to start my journey to learn to play piano. The sound is excellent. And it takes up very little space. There's so many features. I haven't even gone to explorer yet. 5 |

This is fairly simple to use and feels really sturdy. I used it to hold a 49-key midi keyboard over my 88 key. It works really well for that purpose, and I don't find that it inhibits my view of the bottom keyboard all that much. Plus, the angle is adjustable, so you can get it where you want it. This is way cheaper than buying an additional tiered stand, and I highly recommend it. 5 |

bought this to link my 88-key controller to the pc to run EZ Keys Grand Piano software. It is plenty long to get there and is plenty fast. Probably would be even better with a more expensive controller. 5 |

As I came from a fully weighted digital piano (Casio PX-160), I found the keys to be light to the touch. I plan to use it for light practices so my fingers do not tire out. I think it is appropriate for synthesizer play but need to play with it before making a final judgment. Note that this key bed is premium and not what you get with the other key sizes (e.g. 49-key). This keyboard has excellent integration with Ableton Live and MacOS, and was basically plug and play to setup. As this is a light key bed, I did buy another keyboard for a heavier touch and to keep my fingers in physical condition. That other keyboard being the Studiologic SL88|Studio. Another excellent purchase. 5 |
