This camera is a magnificent! It's great in low-light and the active stabilization is awesome for handheld shots.

Great C-AF. IBIS with active stabilization allows me to get shots hand held that I wasn’t able to on previous model. With a wide lens and good technique I am able to get establishing shots with smooth motion simply by taking a giant slow step forward. Great customization options. The only thing that it is lacking is the ability to punch into super 35 mode in 4k. That is the only step back from other models. If this has built in E-ND filter that would be my dream camera, but we don’t live in a dream. This is a fantastic camera and I love it.

It is a great camera. Best follow focus ever. Use it for very active grand daughters and it works perfectly. Virtually every shot is tack sharp, no matter how fast they move. Camera also is ergonomically perfect. Finally, large sensor makes cropping easy to get good shots, even with 40 mm walk around lens.

This lens is absolutely perfect for video with the Sony ZV-E1. It's incredibly easy to zone focus and with dynamic active image stabilization's 1.4 crop factor it gives a perfect 21mm field of view, perfect at least for my taste, neither too wide nor too narrow for video. A lot of people online say the crop factor is 1.3 but I have a 21mm lens to compare it to, and the 15mm in dynamic active stabilization gives a negligibly, unnoticeably narrower field of view than the 21mm lens with stabilization off.

Nice and bright, fast focus and great vibration reduction. Active stabilization on the body combined with the lens' stabilization make for an excellent combo if shooting video.

The is is by far my favorite Sony lens. It is a great all around since it covers r the full frame equivalent of a 27-300mm, and if you use clear image zoom you can extend the range to 600mm, meaning you can do everything form landscape, architecture, portraits to sports and wildlife. This is one of two Sony lens for the nex and Alpha line to have active image stabilization while recording video, the active image stabilization is way better that OSS, so much better that you can hand hold your camera at 200mm and still get smooth video. I use this lens all the time for video since it makes most of my shots look like a did them with a tripod, including handheld pans and tilts. If could only buy a lens it will be this one. It has its draw backs, is slow If you are using to in a low light scenario, but must of the newer cameras you can set your ISO to higher number without getting a lot of noise on you image, a small price to pay for the convenience, and a trade I am willing to make.

Ideal for my stabilizer as it doesn't hinder stabilization. Best decision I could have made.
