Best Affordable Gaming Headset For Commentary

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is THE BEST gaming headset I've experienced. I have a large home theater audio system, and I prefer these, hands down! The fit, the sound quality, the options, the looks, its all amazing. These may look large, but they do not feel it. The muffs are soft, the band is light and the LEDs are awesome! You don't need them on, but they are fun. The best part of these is all of the options. You can use it with any system, or anything Bluetooth enbaled. I personally use them on my XBOX which doesn't do wireless, but works great with the wire, which has a volume control right on it! I have zero negative things to report on these, if you want them, buy them!

I bought this for doing commentary over my videogame footage. It definately helps amplify my voice over some of the more ambient effects within the games I play. You definately need to be in an all quiet room though because this mic will pick up almost everything around you. It works great while combining it with my headset and the built in headset jack really helps for when you want to listen to feedback on your own recordings.

I do a lot of things that have to do with gaming both on console and pc. I use it for everything from recording commentary during tournaments to having voice communication during online play. There is nothing wrong with this microphone in anyway. It may not be an extremely high end microphone but for it's price it can't be beat. It is well built; it's almost completely metal with absolutely no flimsiness or weakness at all in it's build. The things I like best about the microphone is that it's completely universal. It plugs right and starts to work on both my pc and my gaming consoles. The other thing is that it's the only microphone that works with consoles that has a complete line of accessories like wind screens and shock mounts. The only mark I can give against the microphone is that it cannot be compared to much higher end microphones. But it's an unfair comparison because this is the only microphone that fulfills it's specific role.
