The router was easy to set up with the app and there were no glitches. Have noticed an increase in speed with it. The app is great for monitoring. We have not delved into any advanced settings. Not the best looking, but I’ll go with performance first. 5 |

This might sound a bit crazy, but I actually bought this iPad Mini to use pretty much exclusively as a monitor for my Red Komodo. The Komodo Control app is SO good (on iOS, it's absolute garbage on Android unfortunately) and works almost flawlessly with the camera as a monitoring and camera control app. The size and brightness of the screen is just perfect - slightly larger than most popular 7 in. monitors from Atomos or SmallHD, plus, it's cheaper than all of those monitors AND wireless! No need to deal with more annoying SDI or HDMI cables. And lastly, with most camera manufacturers having pretty decent monitoring apps out there, you could also use it as a monitor for a Panasonic, Sony, or Canon camera. Oh yeah, and on top of that, it's also a tablet, so you can use it for web browsing, playing games, and other fun tablet stuff too. Bonus! 5 |
