I use this system in my Den , I play my music from iTunes while I am on the computer and this system was the best choice and I reviewed them all. 5 |

If you need to rip a lot of music for iTunes/Apple Music, you need a local host to store your files, either a PC or Mac. You can't use an iPad or iPhone to do so. I chose the Mac Mini for my wife's music library because it was reasonably priced compared to replacing her comparably configured MacBook Air and she only travels with her iPad. 5 |

We use the Apple TV 4K all the time. Mostly YouTube and Home Sharing with iTunes for downloaded content stored on our NAS. We've tried it on WiFi and Ethernet and find Ethernet much more responsive. I would recommend getting the 128GB version just to have the ethernet port. 5 |

Ever since Apple Inc. has decided to replace iTunes with that primitive Apple Music app disaster I started using Windows devices to run iTunes. The irony. . . This drive works perfectly for hosting my iTunes library, custom equalizer settings for every song, and playlists for every occasion. In the Apple Music app you can no longer set custom EQ for every song the way you still can do it in iTunes under Windows. When you run a four-thousand-Watt sound rig capable of 137dB, being able to readily equalize each and every track is of critical importance. Some songs can sound dangerously harsh and aggressive without proper EQ. You don't want your audience to suddenly bleed out of their ears! No latency and no issues of any kind with this drive. It works flawlessly with 64-bit Windows 11. I have it formatted to the NTFS file system as opposed to FAT. Custom equalizer settings for each song are flawlessly loaded every time, sound quality is as good as ever, and the physically small drive is almost too small to notice. I am 100% happy with it. 5 |

For those lamenting having to buy Apple Music in order to access their personal library, iTunes Match is still available and works perfectly with Siri on the HomePod. It’s only $25/year and accommodates libraries as large as 100,000 songs. No need for Apple Music. 5 |

Use the headphones at my computer to listen to Pandora, Spotify, my iTunes library, YouTube, etc. With a little volume behind them, sounds are pretty clear, good stereo separation. Over-ear cups provide fairly good outside sound prevention. Comes with two jacks for mp3/computer and for stereo receiver. Coiled cord is handy. Headphones somewhat warm, but so far comfortable for a couple of hours at a time. Gave them 5 stars because they are a very good headphone for the money. 5 |

I grabbed this with my new MacBook w/retina display so I could fit my iTunes on the computer. It's plenty fast with the USB 3.0 and it make no noise. Also since it comes prepped for MAc it carries none of the space wasting extra software of a PC portable drive. 5 |

I casually listen to my iTunes collection, Apple Music, and SoundCloud. Play:5 sounds wonderful: full, deep, rich sound, surprising bass, no distortion; Is reliable: music never skips or stalls. I replaced a pair of M-Audio computer speakers. Play:5 sounds better than any computer speakers and bookshelf speakers I have owned. Play:5 in white looks beautiful, especially with white shelving. I bought Play:5 in December 2015 when a 45-day return period was offered. I have no regrets. The only disappointment is in the controller software. Sonos Controller for Mac is like a music player from the early 2000s; Difficult to navigate; Awful for discovery. I wish I could play my iTunes collection from iTunes to Play:5 (without AirPlay). I lose over a decade of metadata gathered from my music habits. But, Play:5 sounds great. 5 |
