Best Audiophile Headphones For Electronic Music

My entry into the world of audiophile equipment. Honestly, I don't have the experience at this point to judge these excellent cans against anything above this tier, but I'm already looking at getting another set of headphones (an upgrade) very soon. That's not to say I'm in any way unsatisfied with my experience with the Fidelio X2HR's. The opposite! I'm feeling so drawn now to the pursuit of better, more detailed, or different equipment because of the whole new world of audio I've discovered while the X2s peacefully melt me into complete aural bliss. It's no overstatement. I'm prone to constant multitasking, so for the past few years, my music experiences have been yoked to some form or other of work. I don't think I realized the creeping depreciation of my love and respect for good music over the years. I'm saddened now to think I let myself get to that point. But, alas, the Fidelios have redeemed me of my sin of omission and now my feet are firmly planted back on the straight and narrow, so to speak. I find myself for the first time in so many years losing track of time rediscovering (or indeed discovering) sonically superior scores on this sublime set. In all seriousness, I recently got into some higher resolution music and tried out various streaming services (Amazon Music HD was my favorite by far). There was noticeable difference on even my regular headphones and AirPods Pro. Putting these bad boys on and playing anything RedBook and above is, for me, the yet barely initiated, the best way I've ever experienced music. You feel as though you are on stage with the band. The separation is great (of course there's better), and they are not fatiguing. You can crank the volume up and up and it just sounds better and better. In sum, I want to speak directly to those thinking about getting into the audiophile lifestyle: THESE ARE THE ONES TO START WITH. I can't imagine one not being extremely satisfied with the X2HR's, so just get them now! 5 |

I bought my first Play 5 in Feb 2017. I use it in my living room and just love the sound. Setting it up was a breeze, just connect the power supply, a few clicks to configure the system in the controller app and done! I have been an audiophile for almost a decade with focus being on headphones primarily. I never thought that audiophile level sound experience was even possible through speakers at such an affordable price and in such a simple plug-n-play manner. The build quality of Play 5 is just amazing; shows the rigor that went into design and manufacturing. Trueplay is such an amazing piece of technology. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard the music after tuning the speakers with Trueplay. The sound is so close to what I could achieve with some of the best headphones, DACs and amps earlier. Now I can listen to all my favorite music across genres like classical, rock, pop, psychedelic etc. without being restricted to sitting in one place. Sonos Play 5 is pure audio bliss! I strongly recommend it to all music lovers. 5 |

I'm no audiophile, and considering that I just listen to music from the computer and iPhone, there's a limit to what these devices can drive in terms of headphones... I think these cover most bases very very well at this price point. There is enough clarity in the highs, the mid tones are clean and the base ins't too boomy. I would consider them to be on the more neutral side compared to what's trendy in consumer oriented headphones, and certainly more clear and crisp in the mids and highs. Excellent value. They don't creak, they are comfortable, not too heavy and they sound great for most music. 5 |

I'm not an audiophile nor an audio professional, I bought this headphones to listen music in media players/smartphones. The sound quality is great, good channel separation, and good bass/mids/highs reproduction. They feel great in the ears and they seem to have a good build quality but it is too soon to say if they are durable. In general I recommend this product. 5 |

As an audiophile and an owner of some of the best headphones from Sennheiser and others, I must say that the AirPods Max Headphones are excellent - - in fact they are terrific. The sound quality is superb and the headphones are extremely comfortable. This product gets my highest rating of 5/5. 5 |

BOSE(Best Overall Sound Equipment) has once again outperformed. The Quietcomfort Ultra Headphones are first to none in my humble opinion. The symphonic sounds bouncing from one cup to the other allows you to truly immerse yourself into whatever genre of music you enjoy. From jazz, to rock and roll, to rhythm and blues, and let's not forget classical, these headphones plays mind games on your psyche. The minor tones are just as clear or maybe clearer than the major tones, which is my most enjoyable feature. The way the headphones controls the output of music establishing peaks and valleys throughout the musical selection places you in state where you can simply enjoy the artistry of music. 5 |
