I'm no audiophile, and considering that I just listen to music from the computer and iPhone, there's a limit to what these devices can drive in terms of headphones... I think these cover most bases very very well at this price point. There is enough clarity in the highs, the mid tones are clean and the base ins't too boomy. I would consider them to be on the more neutral side compared to what's trendy in consumer oriented headphones, and certainly more clear and crisp in the mids and highs. Excellent value. They don't creak, they are comfortable, not too heavy and they sound great for most music. 5 |

Best headphones hands down for the money. If you are using these on your iPhone make sure to adjust your equalizer settings. Really crisp and punchy. No fatigue wearing these for long listening sessions. These are my new favorites well worth the price. I am an Audio Engineering Society member for over 20 years. My Headphone collection can easily rival some retail stores. Tascam is probably recognized more for their professional analogue and digital tape machines. I was skeptical at first since the build quality is meh... but they sound really great. You won't be Disappointed. Picking up a second pair for storage. 5 |
