Best Audiophile Over Ear Headphones 2018 For Bass

I'm no audiophile, but I purchased these headphones after some research on some relatively cheap headphones with good audio quality, leading me to these headphones. I've seen mainly good things, but I saw a few iffy reviews so I was unsure whether or not they'd be what I imagined, but I can safely say they lived up to my expectations, if not surpassed them. The design is my style, the ear padding doesn't make my ears sweat like some other ear cups, and the sound quality is good, with relatively good bass, something that was an important factor for me. I'd tried some beats while journeying in person for the perfect headphones, and I can see these are far, far better than any beat solos. I also bought some $101 dollar noise cancelling headphones and these far surpassed those as well. I'm overall extremely pleased with my purchase, I would in fact recommend these to anyone looking for great headphones on a budget. 5 |

I am not an audiophile but I was blown away by these headphones. They have great bass and excellent highs and mids. I would definitely recommend these headphones for this price! They are very big on your head but are very comfortable. 5 |

I'd recommend these to any audiophile looking for a solid pair of headphones below $200. Well built, bass isn't too heavy, and they look sleek as well. Comes with three cords so it gives you variety. Just do yourself a favor and buy them. 5 |

I got these about 3 months ago to replace my MDRZX110s. They are very decent for the price. The bass is good, and the highs are decent. The mids do sound a little muddled, but its not too noticeable especially if you are not an audiophile. I even compared these to the Beats Solo3 and these sound almost as good with a little better bass than the beats. I don't consider myself a hardcore audiophile, but i do expect quite a bit more from my audio equipment than the average person (probably a beginner audiophile). These would be great as backup headphones or travel headphones. 5 |

I am enjoying my Marshall Over-ear Monitor II A.N.C headphones. Lots O'padding, comfortable when I wear my glasses. The Noise cancelling feature is really awesome. 5 |

Over the ear headphones reduce ambient noise. Sound quality is very good for mono headphones. 5 |

I personally don’t get on with in-ear headphones. Over-ear seem too cumbersome as I use mine mainly on dog walks and need to carry them in my pocket sometimes. The Major IV seem to offer the best of both worlds. They are on-ear, yet deliver a really good sound. The design is simple and different to most other headphones available. The battery life is astonishing. I’ve had mine for two weeks now and still haven’t needed to charge them. Really, really pleased with them. 5 |

Over the years I have gone through many headphones almost all of which broke. The head band broke or one of the ear pieces broke off. These are extremely well made and virtually unbreakable. More importantly, it has superb sound able to pick up from the lowest frequency to the highest! The sound is very rich, full and clear. Love them! 5 |

I recently got my hands on the AKG K371 Over-Ear Oval Closed-Back Studio Headphones and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. The sound quality is outstanding, rivaling my higher-priced Sennheiser headphones. The AKG K371 delivers clear, balanced audio, making it an excellent choice for both casual listening and studio work. The design of the headphones is another highlight. With a sleek and smooth aesthetic, they not only provide comfort for extended listening sessions but also add a touch of style. The build quality feels robust, ensuring these headphones can withstand the rigors of daily use. However, it's worth noting that the AKG K371 headphones do not offer significant sound isolation from external noise. While this may not be a deal-breaker for everyone, it's an important consideration if you're planning to use them in noisy environments. 5 |

Calls are clear, bass is not as strong as in ear headphones. All in all, they’re great for working outside. 5 |
