Best Backyard Projector Screen

We purchased this projector to setup a backyard theater (teens: movie/video games, sleep out in tent). Didn't want to spend a lot of money; however, wanted HD with an HDMI input. This projector fit the bill - affordable and bright enough to light an outdoor screen. Paired with a screen from Backyard Drive-In, it works beautifully. Easy setup, intuitive menus and excellent documentation.

Best projector for the price, Any recommendation what type of screen to use ? Gray or White and what Gain ??

I purchased this projector to have outdoor backyard movie nights. The picture is crisp and clear and the lamp is bright. Great for outdoor movies! Very pleased with this product and highly recommend.

My family loves to watch movies in the backyard, and that was a bit of an issue with my first projector, because I bought a cheap Vankyo projector for $99. The main issue I have is that I have young kids who go to bed early, and in the summer that often means before the sun has set. My backyard gets tons of shade, but it was always still too bright to see an image with the cheaper projector and the image was also only 720 and never got very sharp. This limited our outdoor movies to early spring and fall/winter at best. So I decided to upgrade, and I'm glad I did. This Epson is SUPER bright, and the HD image quality is sharp as a tack from edge to edge. it's bright enough to be seen in the daytime well before the sun goes down, provided it's not in direct sunlight. Setup is easy, and adjusting the focus and the keystone to get a nice rectangular image is a piece of cake. We have a 120 screen, and the projector only has to be about 10-feet back to fill that size. It lacks some features and extra ports than other high end projectors will have, but for the price it's the best. A single HDMI is all I need. We connect that to our Apple TV, and then I have a nice set of outdoor bluetooth speakers that pair with the Apple TV for great stereo sound. This projector has a speaker, but you really should use something else if you can. It also has an AUX to output sound to a speaker via a cable if needed. I am very happy with it, and also happy with the fast and safe shipping from B&H.

This projector is great for every application. I use it in the backyard to have movie nights. Soo convenient, portable and user friendly with many features.

I installed them next to my projector screen and they sound great.
