Fantastic Headphones with good solid bass response, and flat, smooth, open mid-range...I am powering these phones with a oy headphone amp, and am totally addicted to the smooth, transparent sound which I find hard to put aside...Considering the bargain price, you'll not regret buying these excellent headphones,

Very impressed by these headphones, especially for the price. Nice flat response (no false bass boosts or anything), very light weight, quite comfy to wear for hours.

open-back headphones provide a more natural sounding experience with a wide soundstage. The price paid for this is sound leakage to the outside and - often - weak response in the low frequency region. However, Philips has managed to achieve a warm and rich sound with powerful bass already in the Fidelio X1. In next flagship, these qualities are not only preserved, but also improved. The improvement in the sound of the Fidelio X2 versus the X1 is obvious. Headphones are noticeably better at handling voices, brass instruments, cymbals, and subtle nuances in the high frequency range. The bass is booming and full-bodied, but they have become more balanced, better controlled. The sound signature of the Fidelio X2 and X1 is similar, but the new flagship sounds more mature. The response across the entire frequency range is smoother, which will certainly appeal to audiophiles and personal audio enthusiasts. Music is played more pleasantly and naturally, but still fun, without monitor dryness. In addition, headphones are well suited not only for listening to music - surround sound and powerful bass help to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of movies or games, explosions and various effects sound great

These are hands down the best headphones I've used, the frequency response is amazing, and the bass frequencies are the best feature of these headphones. The bass is so good on these, that I can clearly hear the bottom notes of a 32' organ pipe (which sound at a mere 16 Hz at Low C)...so yeah these headphones have really good bass response. Only downside to these are that the pads tend to wear out over the years, but replacement pads are relatively cheap. I highly recommend these headphones, well worth the money

I have been reading about these beauties for some time. I have a home studio with no shortage of high quality headphones for tracking but they are all closed-back style for noise isolation. Many pros insist that open-back headphones are best for mixing because of accuracy, a lack of bass buildup and reduced ear fatigue. Although the HD600s are advertised as "audiophile" phones, I have repeatedly seen them reviewed as being some of the most accurate units around for professional mixing as well. B&H had them on a special and I took the leap. When they arrived, like all new transducers, they were a little stiff and needed some breaking in. After running musicthroughthem for about two days, they really opened up. Now, I totally agree with the reviews I've seen. These babies are spot-on accurate. There is a slight bass boost which would be distracting if these were closed-back because the energy couldn't dissipate but with the open-back design it's present but not really noticeable. What really shines with these are everything above about 50 Hz which is ruler flat all the way up. I use SonarWorks Reference to fine tune the response and the "averaged" response compensation curve for the HD600s is within 3 dB through the mids and highs - the flattest curve for any phones modeled in the software. OK, now my ONLY gripe is that they have separate wiring to each earcup rather than the more conventional single sided cable input but that's a minor thing compared to the amazing sound. If you're serious about mixing and need accurate headphones, these are the ones.

Great imaging and extended bass response. Headphones I can trust to mix on, and I’m aLao enjoying listening to my favorite tracks again and hearing details I had never noticed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the BEST Bluetooth speaker for small groups and back patio gatherings. All I have to do is turn it on and it connects to my phone via Bluetooth immediately. Press play on my phone and I'm suddenly listening to my favorite Playlist. The easiest Bluetooth pairing I've ever seen or done. It asked before I even tried connecting it. It is pretty loud in a bedroom or livingroom. The sound is balanced, with heavy bass. It has excellent sound balance & terrific sound quality. The bass on this is the best I have heard ever for this size speaker! Overall a sleek looking speaker that’s easy to charge and has a long lasting battery. I would Highly recommend.
