Best Bluetooth Headset For Calls 2020

Best bluetooth headset that I have had so far. I've gone through two sony headsets in the past few months and these are by far the best I've come across.

This headset supports connectivity via USB for use as a PC headset and via Bluetooth for use with cell phone calls. The base makes it easy to switch between PC and Bluetooth. The bluetooth connection is between the base and the cell phone, with DECT to the headset. So you leave the phone on your desk and take the headset with you if you want to walk around. DECT has much better range than Bluetooth and is not affected by microwave ovens or WiFi, so calls are clear and consistent at all times.

I use this Bluetooth headset for everyday use and workouts. Very comfortable and flexible to take everywhere with you.

I've been using these since july 2020, and they are on my head every day for 9hrs+ I work in a machine shop, so hearing everything around me is very important. Wearing earplugs all day, they have a earplug function to limit output to keep you aware. They are so light I barely notice them, accidentally almost taken them in the shower a few times. The sound is great, a little lacking in the bass department, but the slight force feedback makes up for that. If you want them so sound even more crisp, and get the most out of them simply wear some ear plugs, they will block the world out completely. I've even worn them under my gaming headset and can still hear characters footsteps in fps games, while listing to music. They lie about battery life... in the best way possible! Wearing these for 9hrs+ in a day and it will run out midday the second day. This is still the case 2 and a half years later! I d believe they are the best headset I have ever bought.

This headset was purchased to replace an entry level Logitech set from about 10-12 years ago. I wanted a comfortable headset for video conferencing that supported usb-c, since both my Pixelbook Go and MacBook Air only have usb-c ports. The fact that this headset can also easily convert into a standard stereo jack was also very appealing. I'm not ready for a wireless headset since I dislike charging too many devices and the mics on Bluetooth wireless headsets usually rate poorly (nearly always, the complaint is that they are underpowered and too quiet). I've used this headset now for numerous many hour long calls. It is lightweight and comfortable, my ears do not get hot, and it does an amazingly good job at blocking out background noise without any active noise canceling technology. The ear pad material was softer than I was expecting and it appears to sink around my ears for a close fit. Sound quality has been very good, and when I asked the people on the other side of my calls how I sounded, they all confirmed that I was clear and easily understood. The cord is very long, and the usb-c connector makes a tight fit. Setup was the same as any other usb headset.
