Best Bluetooth Wireless Microphone For Video Production

I always wanted a small portable PA system, with battery and enough power. Finally, I found it, plus extras that I did not care before, such as a wireless system and Bluetooth. The specific usage is for Christmas Caroling, to play the music tracks for the choir of about 20 people. Expedition XP106 met and exceeded my expectations. It has plenty power (100 watts), a clear and well balance output, and two features that make caroling a breeze. The music tracts can be in my iPhone, which can be sent them to the unit via Bluetooth with no wiring in between, plus, this units comes with a wireless microphone with a small receptor which it is connected to the back of the unit, via USB. The sound of the microphone is very natural and can be played (as we tested, from around 20 feet. The charge, according to the manufacturer can last up to 20 hours, all in a compact unit that is easy to carry and set. Nothing is perfect, thou. I would love to have at least a three points equalizer. I don't think there is a similar unit that matches its specs, including brand name recognition. Great unit. Love it.

Just what I needed to connect a Bluetooth wireless microphone system into a standard large amplifier and speakers.

Purchased this unit specifically for the bluetooth wireless format for my AX-100 Sony 4K camera microphone input. I also have a Sony bluetooth pair ECM-W1M where the receiver is mounted on the Multi-Interface shoe. This ECM-AW4 is very flexible because you can use it with the cameras microphone input jack which I need on my other cams that don't have a Multi-Interface shoe. Another great thing is that these units can be just used as a wireless communication device with another person. The sound quality is great and the range and speed of connection is very good. Battery life is also very good.

Best microphone that i ever have used.

I use the VIDEO MIC made by RODE on my new 60D HDSLR made by Canon. It is a greatesy shotgun mic for HD video production. it is the cleanest and best sounding external microphone I have found anywhere. I would recommend this microphone to anyone using a HDSLR camera for HD video production. I have never had any problems out of it at anytime. The 9 volt battery last around 100 hour or so before I have to change it out. Very long battery life. This same mic is also great on my SONY A1U HDV camera as well. It works great as a second shot gun mic on a long form video camera for using 2 shot gun mics at the same time. I will be buying about 4 to 5 more of these with in the next year.

I first learned about this product when i worked for the first video production company about 19 years ago. I used this same model in film school for a lot of assignments as well. This is a great alternative of the Zeppelin system especially when you are on a budget. It fits my Sennheiser ME-66 shotgun microphone like a glove. It is a very compact unit yet professionally designed to eliminate distortion created by strong wind when capturing outdoor audio. It virtually weights like nothing added to the microphone when using a boom pole. When I work in Run & Gun mode, I just mount the shotgun microphone on the cold-shoe of my camera. I am very satisfied with the result of every recording I did with it.

Best value in video production gear ever. Comes to every shoot whether I plan to use it or not. Will probably get a couple more eventually.

I do video production and we had an incident where the wireless units were going haywire and it caused a lot of delay and frustration. The speakers at the conference didn't really move around on the stage so wireless was not really needed. The next week I bought this to serve as backup and ended up using it as our main sound with the lavalier mic from one of the wireless units. A couple of these in the toolbox would have saved quite a few headaches. Worth ever penny. I may get a couple more.
