Best Budget 1080P Gaming Monitor 2015
Zuhair | 2024-09-08 03:47:58 |
Arguably the best budget 1080p gaming monitor that you can buy. Great colors, even though its a little saturated, but I like that look. Impressive features like Freesync, 165hz (up to 180hz OC), 1ms response time (although a bit misleading), and its IPS panel. It's sharp, has good customizability, and is overall very good. There isnt really anything bad I can say about this monitor. BUY IT! 5 |

For so many years, I've used 24", 1080P budget monitors. After I retired, I decided to buy a quality 32" 4K Asus ROG STRIX XG32UQ monitor to go with my new high-end gaming PC. Well, it really wasn't just for me. My 9 year old grandson had a lot to do with the purchase! I know I'll never go back to a budget monitor though! Absolutely gorgeous monitor....picture is amazingly beautiful! Great Job ASUS!!! 5 |

A solid monitor that didn't break my budget. Going from 1080p to 1440 was a huge boost in my enjoyment of my games 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been on the market for a gaming monitor. I wanted something that wasn’t just HDR compatible, was high refresh rate, at least 30”, and 1440p. I was upgrading from a 144Hz, 1080p monitor that was 37”, way too big for 1080p. I saw the 32” G7 in a store and ordered it shortly after. This monitor is everything I was wanting. I didn’t think I’d like the curvature of the display, but I think it helps further envelope me in games. The refresh rate is more than ample for my needs. My desktop won’t be driving AAA games at 240Hz, but Nvidia G-sync helps with that. Colors are vibrant for a standard LCD panel and the 1440p resolution is just enough for gaming without stressing my system by pushing 4K. The built-in speakers are serviceable. They have RGB lighting that is controlled via the monitor itself. I would like to plug it in via USB and have an app for controlling it, but the OSD is fine. There’s also an RGB light ring on the back. It would also have been nice if it adapted to whatever the monitor was displaying. But those are two small complaints in an otherwise great monitor that will suit my needs for years. 5 |

Very good and cheap monitor for 1080p gaming or a good seconday monitor, I had no issues with this the size is also perfect for 1080p, if you go up to like 27-32 inches monitor (1080p) it gets blurry, If you want a budget monitor buy this honest (any card should be able to get 165hz on this ez) 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor on sale to replace a 27in gaming monitor cause I needed more desktop to multitask and wanted a bigger gaming monitor all in one. This fits the requirements and within my budget. There are no dead pixels that I can see and the mini leds are awesome. I have noticed some light bleed, but only on dark blank screens like season 8 GoT, but are not noticed during game play. The gaming overlay can be annoying when you are just waking it up, but doesn't come up unless you want it to. The connections are plenty to have this as a monitor, a console screen, and a smart TV. Try not to have this in the same room with another Samsung tv, as it will wake and or turn on or off with the other remotes. Solid smart monitor and it came with cables! Want to get another one, but the wife won't let me get a bigger desk, until we get a bigger house...haha! If you are a high end gamer, you might not like it, but check out the more in depth reviews to make a decision. Everyone else on a gaming budget, catch this monitor on sale, you won't regret it. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great monitor if you are on a budget. I got 3 of them and use them for both work and gaming and I love them so far. Great viewing angles also. Response is very good too if you do plan to game on them. It may not be 120hz refresh but it is 75hz. For the casual gamer you won't tell the difference. 5 |

This monitor really is something else. I'm upgrading from a pretty budget Dell gaming monitor, same 27 size, but every other spec is a huge upgrade. The colors are vibrant, it responds insanely fast, and the framerate and clarity of motion is completely unmatched on the market currently. Coming from a 1080p monitor, the pixel density has far surpassed my previous experience. Additionally, the monitor has a lot of tools to help you get a long life out of it as well that prevent burn-in. The monitor is fantastic for the form factor. I won’t say that it’s perfect. I’m still getting used to the glossy finish of the screen. It sometimes takes a few seconds to alt-tab out of a game. Still, the monitor is the best thing I’ve laid my eyes on and it’s been an absolute pleasure to use. I highly recommend it! 5 |
