[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use 2 monitors for Music production, high resolution is essential. The Vesa holes make it easy to configure depending on the type of mounts you have. I use an Ergotron which allows me to do vertical or horizontal and when I am done working, I can watch Movies in Ultra HD or play a game at high resolution. The versatility of these monitors makes them ideal for various multimedia setups.

I've been doing music production for a couple of decades. I've owned a number of different studio monitors over the years, and currently have a nice set of Kali monitors in my main workspace. I wanted something VERY compact for when I'm working in my home office space that would work as functional reference monitors - not computer speakers - to check my headphone mixes. Did a fair amount of research and settled on these, and they have more than lived up to the hype. These tiny things are a bit mid-forward, but the low end response is kinda shocking for something so small. The single power cord, single on/off switch, and the adjustable integrated isolation mounts are all fantastic features, as are the switchable EQ settings. They're small and light enough to throw into a backpack with your laptop and work virtually anywhere. If you're on the fence, just get them. You won't be sorry.

I was looking for some monitors for my music production system, and found these Yamaha HS8 were just right. They are not too big, and just the right size to place on either side of my keyboards. The sound is clear and they have the right connections on the back.

I needed a new main computer for my music production studio. I was not sure whether to buy this or the 2.93 12-core. I did some research and everything pointed to processor speed trumping core count in heavy DAW use. It is true. This machine outperforms a friends 2.93 12-core in plugin/Virtual instrument count in both Logic and Cubase. The only downside is that you are limited to a max of 24GB of RAM (using 8GB sticks) to still get the triple channel functionality. But that's still quite a lot.

I have a dell inspiron 3847, came with 8 gig of ram. I'm using it for music production, cubase and a lot of vst instruments. Well the day came to add more ram. Because this computer is a bit older, it maxes out at 16 gig. The Crucial 16GB DDR3 1600, was the only thing I could find for an upgrade. These specs are not the fastest, but the mother board would not accept DDR4. Swapping the ram was easy. On restart the computer recognized there was a hardware change, went to settings and ran a diagnostic, than restarted and works great. OS Windows 10 64bit. If your doing music production, I recommend 32GB or more if your computer will accept it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am building my computer for music production and this was one of the missing pieces I needed to finish my build. I’ve been looking for extra ram to give my computer the storage it needs to run my music programs without stalling. It was easy to install and works great. Im sure this product will last.

I don't use these monitors to record. I use these as computer speakers to listen to music, movie and etc. I hook them up with a DAC and use RCA. The sound is very clean (I hear things in my music that I never heard before!) The high and mid are sweet. The bass is ok. I have all setting on flat and vol on 0dB. I control the vol from the DAC. I like these monitors. I listen to the A7X and it sound better, but didn't fit my budget.
